Good morning everyone! Nancy, thinking of you as Saturday is almost here. So happy for your family and all the best to your DS. Deb, as someone who was suppose to work a 8-3 schedule 2 days a week which often went to 8-6

Lori,
That's a nasty sounding bug. Hope you're feeling better soon!

Good Morning,
The joke in the morning around here is that DH always asks me when I get up did it snow? I said no but got a knock on the bathroom door that it did. Sure enough big white flakes falling out of the sky. The cars are coated and a some on the grass but really too warm to do much of anything.
Patty-that was a very scary situation you described. I'm with Lori-do you carry your cell phone. Whether I'm walking the dog or walking by myself I always have it with me. Glad everything was OK.
No workout this morning. I didn't set my alarm and I've been so tired the past few nights I really felt I would benefit from the extra hour. I'm still feeling tired, and it seems that I'm having a bit of a work wardrobe issue as well has a bad hair day. That's why I should never blow dry my hair in the dark! Bad things can happen :)!
It's going to be a long day at work. Friday's just seem to be bad eating days for me. It's always the battle of the bagel basket plus apparently there's a birthday luncheon involved as well. Not getting out of the office for that hour always makes my day extra long. I'll be very happy when 5PM arrives!
DD and her BF are scheduled to arrive sometime this evening. I have to remember to wrap his Christmas gift before they arrive.
Nothing else going on around here. All is relatively quiet at the moment.
Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday!
Susan
Just when I thought I'd fall asleep from the boredom at work,

Just a quick post before I finish getting ready to go to Mom and Dad's.
Patty, that really was scary. I don't go too far away from "civilization" even when I walk on the beach, and I always carry my cell phone with me. Fear is a real energy drain and holds us back from so much -- at least it often does me. On the other hand, sometimes a healthy dose of fear can save us from bad situations and experiences. I guess it's a fine balance.
I've been straightening up around here, got the 5 garbage cans and 2 recycling bins back in place, and now just need to finish getting dressed, so I can head into Mom and Dad's. I'm wearing my "ball throwing" clothes in case Dad feels up to it. Tiger goes to get the stitches from his ear today. My ear seems to be well too. :-)
TGIF!

Good morning everyone! We have sun and we have snow. Well not a lot of snow, actually I just got to see the end of it coming down. It has already stopped and it is not freezing out. Most likely this will turn to rain and disappear. We had a mixed up morning schedule today. Our middle school is doing its state ELA tests this week and today the 7th graders have a two hour delay. So she does not have to be in until 10:00. We got to sleep in this morning, I did have to wake Bill but he handled waking the boys when he was done. I got up at 8:00 and that felt so good. I will drive Katie in and then head

Running alone on a new path and two men drive up....I say yes that's fear but that's also your intuition to get the heck out of dodge!
