Good morning everyone. The beginning of a brand new week. Do you get excited about the possibilities or shudder at the probabilities???? I am just about ready to put my scales away for awhile. I can't remember ever seeing my weight go up so quickly like this. I'll get 2 pounds off and then it comes right back. The holidays are over, Flo is here but almost gone; can I really be eating so much more????

Good Morning,

It's kind of a gloomy looking day out there. We just had a touch of snow coat the street overnight but at this point it's almost gone.

The start of the work week is here way before I'm ready for it. Seems like it was just 5PM on Friday afternoon. I do wish my Flash Point would come that I could go back to working part time. I don't see circumstances changing radically enough that will happen anytime soon. Of course there's always lotto!

That alarm sure did seem to get here before I was ready. But even though the scale is not showing it I think I've commited myself to keeping to the early morning rise and shine. I really do know that my body appreciates the effort. My early morning date with the treadmill was met along with lots of stretching to get the aches and pains in the knees and hip under control.

Lots of laundry to contend with-both dirty and clean. It was calling my name yesterday but I just wasn't listening. After work mission will be to sort out the clean to the proper owners, fold and put away my own and at least one load through the washer and dryer.

I've decided on Chicken Marsala for tonight's dinner menu. Not sure what I'll be serving with it but for now that's the plan. If the weather cooperates then Otto and I will venture out for our after dinner stroll.

Donna-really sorry to see the end result of the Pats game. I was definitely hearing the sounds of frustration from both the east and west sides of MA. Hope that the headache didn't turn ugly and that you're feeling OK.

Rhonda-hope your Mom is feeling better.

Karen-haven't heard from you in awhile. Hope everything is OK out your way.

Lori-hope you're feeling better and are recuperating from your bout with the gunk.

I see that time is drawing near to pack up the snacks and head out to the working world that gives me a paycheck.

Hope everyone was a marvelous Monday!

Anyone ever use anything like this for their shoes?

If time permits, I’ll attempt to catch up with the happening around here.

I saw that and wondered about how much room it would take up. I think I figured I'd need 3.
