Tuesdays check in time!
| Tue, 01-23-2007 - 7:25pm |
Well it is about that time that we all check in for at least one more time before we go to bed or head for the couch. So who will go first? I mean post not bed!

Hi cl-Deb and all,
Well, it is time for me to call it a day. Not a bad day overall. Didn't do too bad food wise and I managed 1.82 miles on the treadmill :-). So I am headed for the couch for awhile and see if I can stay awake for the State of the Union address. The morning alarm seems to come around rather quickly!
Hope you all have a good evening.

Not too bad a day. Work was rather slow and tedious but 5PM came at last! I was really tired when I came in the door and fortunately dinner was heat up the sauce and meatballs and boil some water for the pasta. I had salad already made for myself so quick and easy.
After dinner Otto and I headed out for our walk and a fairly pleasant winter's evening. got all my laundry folded and put away and gradually my mountain of laundry is becoming a hill (for now).
I actually sat and read for almost an hour this evening. I'm been finding it so hard to watch TV or read in the evening lately since I fall asleep rather easily.
But I do think it's an early night tonight and I think that's where I'm headed.
Nighty-night and sweet dreams everyone!
Susan
Got home about 1pm today from Jazz, coffee, errands and honestly 1-5pm I tried to go room from room and some still look like a mini-disaster.
The male testosterone is running wild at this house this evening.

Will Zach get put on the A team? At least he has vindication from this other coach that he really is good enough. I know that's small consolation if he has to stay on the C team, but at least he knows and knows that the bad coach knows he's good enough to be on the best team. I hope they do the right thing.
Always feel free to vent here. That's one of the great things about the board. You know we'll "feel your pain" and sympathize, because some of us have bound to have been through it or can imagine what it must feel like.
Very scary about your DH's friend. You just never know what's going on inside someone no matter what they look like on the outside. Do the drs. have any idea what caused his situation?
Hugs to you, Zach, and your DH,

I never made it back on the computer last night. Had to feed the family and then Katie and I watched American Idol. Bill grabbed the computer immediatly, lol. I did not have a good weigh in either Nancy. Acording to the scale I was up .2, and to them that is like being the same. She said it could have been the heavier sweater or maybe too much water not enough bathroom. Who knows........I toyed with the idea of trying the flex points but 21 a day is so limited I am afraid I would go over big time. I will give the Core program more time but I will pay attention to my portion size and try to move more. Our leader is a personal trainer and she said to just do 5 minutes on the eliptical each day. I am going to shoot for 15 minutes, I know I can do that much. Heck I need to do that much. So after American Idol I put my PJ's on and took some Comtrex night time for my nose was running and my head hurt. I was sound asleep by 10:00.
Barb: Great job on that treadmill. Keep up the good work.
Susan: Yum on the pasta.......I miss it. I know that laundry mountain very well. I try to keep mine to hills too.
Jdeb: I must laugh how you described your rooms as mini distasters. Come here I will show you what a "real" distaster looks like! Who said you can not have/chew bread and why? I must have missed something.
Karen: Perfectly fine to vent. That is what we are all here for. Sorry about yours sons placement on the basketball team. I would rather him be a shinning star on the "C" team then the OK guy on the "A" team. He has plenty of time to be on the "A" team. He is young yet. Although I do understand your fustration and why you are upset. Has anyone made a complaint against this coach? Your son may not be the only one he has targeted.
Nancy: Sorry about the weight gain this past week. It is fustrating. I guess your busy weekend just caught up to you. I am sure you will get back on your regular schedule.

Sorry to hear the head coach is behaving like a spoiled brat - getting back at you by denying your son the chance to use his talents at a higher level.
