Does anyone have any ideas on how to add intensity to my abs workout?

Try using one of those large exercise balls. When you have to balance on that too, it uses your core a lot more.

Also, if you do Pilates correctly it will focus strongly on your abs and on tiny inner muscles that other forms of exercise don't use.

Have you added any weight or incline to your ab workout?

Not sure what you are using now but I've always found that elevating my feet with a bench or pillow and holding a 5 lb weight gives me more intensity.

You know, that's a good idea and I do have a Ana Caban Pilates Abs Workout that I haven't used yet. Think I'll start mixing it up.

Would ankle and wrist weights be best or do I place a hand-held weight on my abs?

That's interesting...I've never heard of this before... does this come with a specific tape, too?

When I've used a weight for abs, I just hold a small dumbell on my chest for regular crunches and you can place one across your
