Time to check in and tell us about your day? Any extra special thank you moments today?

I'm glad the workday is behind me. It was full of way too many "sunshine" moments today. The woman openly admitted that she was overcaffeniated and add that to her already type "A" personality-we'll just say her mouth didn't stop moving all day long! Add in a meltdown over a correction ribbon in the typewriter we still need to use from time to time. I'll just oh my!

I made the very tasty shrimp recipe that I posted in the Healthy Recipe thread. Thanks Cooking Light!

Otto and I headed out for a very chilly evening walk. Ok-it was cold! I was trying to keep the extra sniffing down a bit but that gum on the sidewalk that was just so appealing was hard to drag him away! A big thank you to the considerate neighborhood drivers who actually stop at the stop signs and let pedestrians cross the street. They are few and far between but thanks to those that are considerate.

Karen-really can't believe the inlaws. How hurt your DH must have been. I'm shaking my head along with you.

Nancy-sorry to hear about the breakin at the church. How very sad. Churches have stopped being open in this area for a very long time.

Patty-glad to hear your bathroom is nearing completion. I didn't get one of those commodes with our bathroom redo-should I be jealous? Happy and safe driving with Bea II.

Well I think it's time to brush the teeth, put on my jammies and settle in for the night.

Hope everyone has had a good night and pleasant dreams await you all!

Nothing wild or interesting to report.

Alright ladies........my afternoon s*cked! Plain and simple! I could not get Cassone. She is not feeling well and was under my bed. Most days she greets me when I come in the door and today nothing. She hid under my bed and not even Boars Head Deli Ham would lure her out. I resorted to try and chase her with the vacuum cleaner on. She ran out and was in the corner but when we attempted to grab her she was yowling, crying and hissing. She would have bit me given the chance. Not the way you want to have a relationship with your pet. After over an hour of attempts I said forget it. I called the vet to explain......they are so nice. She said they were in the office until 7 today and if I did catch her I could bring her in anytime. The next best step is the morning. Right now I have the litter box in my room with some water. I am not going to feed her tonight and I am keeping her locked in my room. In the morning Bill and I have an appointment to sign some papers for a Home Equity loan and we need to be out at 9:00. So she will just have to wait until I get home around 11:00. I bought a can of the Fancy Feast and I will open it and put it into the carrier. I am hoping by then she will be hungry enough to go in and eat. And I will close the door after her. I told the kids in my fit of anger that I was going to get rid of her or have her put down because this is no way for a family pet to behave. The kids were mad at me and rightfully so. My sister said the fact is that no one would adopt her, she is full grown and unfriendly. I am all she has and I just wish she would trust us more. I guess getting and keeping Tiger sent her back big time. More then I realized. Bill and I were talking a little while ago and I told him there is no way she would let me put medicine in her eyes and I was worried. Bill said then let her stay at the vet for a few days if she needs too. I said but that is expensive and he responded with we need to do what is necessary for her. What ever it costs it cost....this coming from the man who claims not to like cats. Unfortunatly this set the tone for the rest of the afternoon. I waisted like 2 hours trying to catch a cat, tear apart my room, and put it back together. I then needed to run to the grocery store since I ran out of skim milk and had no clue what to make myself for dinner. I decided to make a stir fry. Boys were not comeing home, Katie I bought these chicken things with brocolli and cheese inside. I created my own beef stir fry with brown rice. It was yummy......Billy picked on it while passing through. When Bill got in about 9:20 he was cold and hungry and I warmed him a plate and he loved it too. Bill is in the shower still attempting to warm up, Katie is under her blankets sounds asleep and both boys are out with friends. I think I will put my PJ's on and get ready for bed myself. The cat escapade wore me out. Oh I did 10 minutes this morning on the eliptical machine and I have stuck with Core and my water.......yeah me!

This has been a pretty eventful day here.

I went to the Y to meet with the personal trainer. It wasn't the guy I had planned to meet, but Andrew was very good. He is a certified exercise physiologist, so he was very thorough and most of our time was spent talking, finding out about my needs, limitations, etc. He

Thanks Lori, as soon as she sees us coming she ran under the bed. We did chase her out and had her in the corner (not nice) and we attempted to put a towel on her but it did not work. I hope we can get her in this morning.
