Mornin'Ladies,
A beautiful sunny day out there. DH was out earlier and he did say that there are some patches of some black ice here and there.
I've got Dancing Queen stuck in my head from last night. I may have to make a trip to Best Buy and see if they have the sound track from Mama Mia. I do have a CD that I need to return. Just don't know whether I want to venture over that way today.
Grocery shopping is first thing on the agenda today besides the new mountain of laundry that I've already started whirling and twirling. I have a mani/pedi appointment for later in the morning and then the afternoon will be mine. I'm sure that I should concentrate on some clean up around here but not sure I'm of the mind to do that.
Garden style lasagna from Cooking Light is on the menu for this evening. If it turns out good I'll be sure to post the recipe.
No workout on the agenda today. I actually had 6 straight days and on the seventh I'll be taking a day off. The scale actually showed a 1.5 loss although after the food explosion last night it make take a really good walk on the treadmill to work off some of the damage! Back to good eating habits today-but I sure did enjoy that dinner last night! There will be dog walking activity on the agenda for later in the afternoon. Probably should check in on my bills too and get the checkbook updated.
Well my dryer has chimed that it's done and waiting for the next load to twirl which means the washer is waiting for another load to whirl so I'm off to the laundry room!
Hope you all enjoy a sensational Sunday!

Good morning Susan, thanks for getting us going.I've been out to CL and today will be
Miss P
We saw a whale or whales yesterday on our walk at the beach! We were both so excited, because it's the first time we've ever seen them from the shore here. We were walking moderately fast and not looking for shark teeth when I decided to look out at sea for dolphins. I saw one, but also saw some commotion and water blow up in the air. We kept watching and there was a whale. We must have watched for 20 minutes or so, and other people came up to see what we were watching. We saw its fin, its tail (which is rare), it's back, and blowing air/water a number of times. We weren't sure if it was just one really large one or if there was more than one, but it was so exciting. The beach was fairly crowded with surf fishers, walkers, people throwing frisbees and balls for their dogs, and even sunbathers. The air was too cool for me to bare anything, but it was very pleasant with a sweatshirt and pants on. Surf wasn't very good, so there was only one guy out in a wetsuit.
Tim had worked all morning, then came home and we talked and semi-napped, snuggled for about 90 minutes before we left. After the beach, it was only 5:00, but we hadn't had lunch, so we went to Olive Garden. That place is crowded no matter what time of day you go. The wait wasn't too bad though. I got the shrimp and asparagus risotto, which I've had before and like a lot. I left most of the risotto, because it was in a thick, creamy, cheese sauce that had to have a million calories. We did get their new dessert that's a cinnamon apple bread pudding with Italian cream and caramel sauce to bring home and split. It was good, but that gooey chocolate dessert we got before was better.
The book Margie mentioned, The Someday Syndrome, had come yesterday. It's really a booklet. I read most of it last night, but started getting tired and went to bed early.
This morning when I got up I got some 5 lb. dumbbells and did some arm exercises while I did various kinds of squats and lunges. It's a start! I feel good about that. I'm almost ready for church early. We'll probably have brunch at The Original Pancake House, and then I'm not sure what the day will hold. It looks gray and kind of rainy out, so not much of an outdoor day. Maybe I can persuade Tim to go to a matinee. Rob spent the night at a friend's house.
Hope everyone has a blessed Sunday!
