Patty, I agree balance is so important. Seems it's a never ending quest to try to achieve all kinds of balance. When I was in the sporting goods stores yesterday, I was looking at some of the Bosu boards or balls

Good Morning,
A nice blue sky, sunny but cold winter morning here on LI. Actually the temperature is probably right where it's supposed to be for January.
A very tiring day at work yesterday. My coworker and myself were a bit blurry eyed by the time 5:00 rolled around. But we made a good dent in what needed to be done. Fortunately, dinner prep was all done in the morning so it made the after 5 hour much easier. I was stalling taking Otto out for a walk waiting for a return call from the doctor's office. The girl in the office just didn't understand why there was no return call on Friday. Personally, I think I was speaking to the reason! Anyway, everything is fine. He had a delay in getting the results and in fact only got the MRI results yesterday. The office was just following up to make sure I had followed up. I guess they don't know me very well. Glad to hear that from everyone. Otto and I did get out for our walk and it was a busy evening around here. Don't think I actually sat down until it was almost time to go to bed.
Workout is complete for the day. I did some pedaling on the stationary bike, did some weights and crunches and stretches so I'm feeling good.
Dinner will be an easy heat and serve meal. Sauce and meatballs already prepared. I'll get some salad ingredients together and the dinner will be in the main dining hall! After dinner stroll with Otto. I really do need to find something to put on underneath my pants to keep my legs warm for nighttime winter walking. DS'jacket keeps my upper half warm and the rest of me is freezing!
By the way, I used one of those balance boards in physical therapy. I enjoyed using one of those. A little challenging at first. I actually might look into getting one of those.
My dryer has chimed that it's done doing its thing-guess it's my turn now.
Hope everyone has a terrific Tuesday!
Susan
Deb,
I'm sorry that you are feeling so blue. Family life, work (paying and non paying) take a toll and it truly is hard to find that balance and let's face it the above usually takes priority over trying to care for yourself. Stop beating yourself up! Big hugs being sent your way from this end of LI!
Susan
