All I do is walk on the treadmill. About 2 -3 miles ,4mph ,5 days a week.

I did belong to a gym but the ones around here are not very nice and they catered more to Senior Citizens with stretching classes etc. Plus theu are expensive to join.

I am looking for a dvd/tape to do at home.

Let me introduce myself also:

I will be 40 in April and currently weigh 156, wishing for 140 but will be really happy at 145 and happy at 150.

My family isn;t supportive of my dieting because they say I am not fat but I am not happy and just want tobe comfortable in my skin. I have lost 30 lbs 8 yrs ago and hae kept it off but for the past 2 yrs I have been trying to lose these 10 lbs but just keep failing at it. This year I am a little more determined..

2 girls 8 and 11 into sports, softball and soccer and also dance...

Married 16 yrs this June, ok marriage..

currently not working but looking for p/t work.

2 brittany spaniels Maggie and Shafer and I love my Jeep Wrangler..

Hello again and thanks for giving us some information to get to know you better. You did forget one important thing.......your name, lol. Well like you said you do not have lots to loose but you want to loose it nonetheless. My family does not understand either yet they are not the ones zipping those jeans, right? Sounds like your treadmill walking is going great but that does get boring even with the best music playing in your ears. One of the other ladies (Phyllis) told me about a program you do at home called Core Secrets. It uses a Core ball and it goes with a video. I actually find it fun and a good workout. My husband complains because we have this big silver ball in our bedroom but hey.....ya never know, lol. Actually I just rebought the video on a DVD so now I can do it in my den in the morning when everyone is still sleeping or getting ready for school/work. Having two active kids and two active dogs I am sure you want to keep that energy too. What area do you live? Is it cold out now? What kind of work are you looking for? I also do the Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds program since I do not have a treadmill home and its too chilly for me to walk outside (I live in New York). I find her walking program is fun because she also incorporates weights for additional strength training. Why not stop at your local library and see what kind of tapes/DVD's they might have and borrow them to try. Good luck and hang around. We will help motivate you and encourage you to shed those last 10 pounds.

I have a whole collection of exercise videos. I use the Walk Away the Pounds ones to change things up once in awhile.

www.collagevideo.com has a huge collection. You can even see clips of the tape/DVD. There are customer reviews and will give you an idea of what exercise level the tape is geared for. I've been happy with their service as well. If you're thinking of trying weights-which by the way is a great idea Tamilee Webb has a a tape/DVD of I Want Those Arms which is broken down into 2 15 minute sessions. It gives you a good idea of how to start out. Give it a look!

I'm another one who has been trying to lose those last few pounds. It can be frustrating. Try not to focus on that number of that scale but rather how you feel. It's helping me be more positive!
