It is Super Bowl Sunday...any plans for the day? I did hear someone talking yesterday that next to Thanksgiving it's the second biggest day for eating! So on that note Super Bowl parties? Shopping? Rest and relaxation? Plans for the day please...inquiring minds do like to know!

Good Morning,

Another bright blue sky this morning but still windy. How's those Midwest temperatures this morning?

No real plans for the day although there always seens to be something to be done around here. I was sitting in the living room this morning-a seldom used room in this house. But it was so pleasant to sit in there drinking my morning cup of coffee. We have a 5 light bow window and the sun just streams in the morning. I was all curled up on the couch, enjoying my coffee and the beautiful warm sunshine.

I've been up since I fed Otto around 6. I was wide awake and decided that I would stay up. DH doused all the plants in the sink last night and they were still sitting there this morning. We have a corner stand for all the greenery so I decided since it was plant free that I would dust it off and then put the plants back on. I've been whirling and twirling laundry and even put all my paid bills in their respective folders. I found some paystubs to be shredded along with some of those bonus checks that the credit card companies send so all that went through the shredder as well. I have a whole filing cabinet to go through so one folder at a time I need to shred that all up.

After finishing up my grocery list I'll be heading to the grocery store. I probably should go back to Peapod but I always end up back in the store for fruits and vegetables and meat since I prefer to pick that out but I probably would still save myself time to order the everyday type of things that are needed, and prices are about the same.

My weekly manicure appointment is also on the agenda and then not sure what I feel like doing the rest of the day. I'm making a turkey sausage, ravioli lasagna for dinner with a salad. DD saw a picture of this recipe that I had taken out of a magazine and asked if I would make it since it looks so good. She's not around that often on a Sunday night so I told her I would accomodate her wish!

I do have a pile of ironing to do which I really should take care of. It saves me time in the morning not to have to iron something to wear so maybe I'll watch something off the Tivo and iron away. We'll see what the mood holds. I do want to catch up on some reading. I so dislike starting a book and having it take so long to read it. I love to read and there are just days when I can't do it when my mind and eyes are so tired. That's one thing I really do enjoy doing on a Sunday afternoon. Amd of course Otto and I need our daily outing-we'll be able to enjoy that walk in the sunshine again today.

That's about it from this neck of the woods. Hope everyone has a Super Sunday!

Patty I understand the winter funk thing too but we do have to push pass it. I hope your knee is feeling better.......what's on the pizza?I want to see that movie too, I think its more of a chick flick because Bill was not interested in seeing it the other night. It's cold here too but we can turn the thermostat on high and I can make margaritas. If we sit in my den and turn the over head lights on you need your glasses so it might feel like we are in the Florida Keys! Will that work?

Susan, we do not use our living room like many people. We do not have a TV in here but we do have to computer and desk. But many a morning I enjoy coming in here and drinking my tea with the sun peaking through our side window. A comforting place. Tiger got thrown out of the room around 6:00 and put into Katie's empty room. Then Bingo decied he needed to go out around 8:00 so I got up then. I need to run to the Walbaums in town because Peapod did not have a few items I needed and I too like to pick out certain things but a majority of my stuff is coming tomorrow after work and it makes my run today much quicker. Enjoy your manicure/pedicure.......I will probley do mine at lunch time tomorrow, I am going to need it.

Gosh I could not take that ever. How do you do it? As it is now they tease me about not wanting to go out of the house. Enjoy your afternoon and your party.

Morning Kat! We all need some more vitamin D that is for sure. I love how my pets just lay in the sun. Giving the Firm a go? Good luck I understand its a great workout. I wish we had a good Walmart around here like they have in other parts of the US. The one we have here is small and dirty and not in the best neighborhood. Enjoy your day!

Well good morning everyone. The animals had me awake before I wanted too but 8 is better then 6 so I will take it. Bill got up shortly after and we had our Sunday morning coffee/tea together. Now he is in the den watching TV while I check out the board and emails. It is chilly here and I understand one of the coldest snaps we have had so far. Katie and I have not seen the horse in over 3 weeks and I think I might take a ride out there but its so cold in the field. The gound is too cold to ride but we might just brush him and give him some carrots.......then again I might not. Bill is pushing us to go out there and I am thinking run to the store for my vegtables and fruit, iron my clothes for the week and maybe relax because I know what the week holds. So right now my plans are in the air. Katie is still at my inlaws and I will head over to pick her up around noon. I need to throw my sweats on and do my walking tape first. I spoke to Katie and her hip is sore from her fall so I am sure a low key day here would not be so bad either. Acutally we need to return a movie to Blockbuster today too. I am not sure if we will be watching the Super Bowl although with the new TV the boys might want to with some friends. But I have not heard any talk as of yet. I will probley make a roast beef for dinner tonight but right now the thought of food make my tummy hurt. Rob ate my left overs last night, lol as soon as we got in the door. Well time for me to make my bed and get dressed. Have a great day everyone!
