Good morning everyone. I woke up so excited about running to my new cd today. Hope I have that same excitement when I hit my treadmill.
Did anyone catch Oprah yesterday? It was such a positive show about women our age.

Good Morning,
Another cold day here although we've move up the morning temperature from 9 to 11 degrees.
I did watch that Oprah yesterday. I'm not sure that I saw the end as I seemed to passed out in the chair last night. I ended up sleeping about 2 hours in the chair last night before I got up and went to bed. It was a physically and mentally demanding day at work yesterday. I spent the morning at the storage facility with 3 other staff members going through boxes of files looking for a couple of long lost files. Several of them fell through the system we have of closing out files and of course it's always the ones that you end up needing. I was only supposed to go over and get the process started however we sort of broke off into groups of 2 and I didn't think it was right for me to head back and leave the person alone to fend for themselves. The lockers have no rhyme or reason to the order of the boxes and we could only guess the approximate number of the box. It took hours and lots of lifting and squatting and hoisting boxes here, there and everywhere. I ended up having a double upper body workout yesterday. I shortened my lunch hour so I could start catching up on work and it just was a difficult day. I came home exhausted and was so glad that dinner was already in the oven and really nothing to do. It was just too cold for Otto's walk so by 6:30 I was in my jammies and my big fluffy VS robe. Nothing much left of me for the evening.
I do feel better for the extra rest this morning and was down on the treadmill by 5. Put in my 30 minutes on the treadmill and did all my different leg lifts and stretches.
DD scared the you know what of me this morning. She left for work at her usual time but she's not very good about locking the door behind her. About 20 minutes later I hear the door open-fortunately she yelled out that it was her before I came out wielding a heavy object! She forgot her phone and had to come back home.
Really hoping for a low key day at the office but the boss is in all day which could make for a hectic day.
Leftover sauce and meatballs with pasta for dinner and I'll have to see how the outside temperatures are before heading out for a walk. We may have to wait for one more day when the temperatures are supposed to get into the 20's.
Thanks for your prayers and good thoughts for Marie. She's still not doing real well. She's not eating and they are testing for additional blood clots and they had to stop the test yesterday when she began coughing during the procedure. It looks like she'll now have to be put under general anthesthia for the procedure.
Nancy-loved your post this morning! Sounds like you're really loving life! And a belated Happy Birthday!
Barb-good for you for making that dentist appointment. I always put off those kind of phone calls but I always feel better when I do.
Rhonda-love the Jackson outfits! He must be one super dressed baby and a cute one at that!
Booty-glad to hear your trip to KC went well. Hope the new work hours and new work staff work out well for you. I often say I wouldn't mind working a few more hours for an extra day off.
Karen-would love to have those 40 temperatures for a nice walk outside!
CL-Deb-hope your workday yesterday went smoothly.
Time to get moving. The work day is rapidly approaching-fortunately or unfortunately. Hope everyone has a terrific Tuesday!

When we have achieved a state of wellness, we feel buoyant and energetic. Some of us are naturally slim, while others will always be curvy. No matter what our weight, we can use the cues we receive from our physical and mental selves to judge how healthy we really are.-Daily OM
This woman is a friend and client of my sister here. How I admire her! I wish I could do in my 50's what she does in her 70's!!!
