Good morning everyone. Cl-Deb, great news about your friend! Margie , hope your DD is feeling better today. Rhonda, I really want to see your hair. I'm thinking of you and hearing Wild Thing in my head.

Hey there.

It's been ages (it seems like) since I've had the time to post!

I really think I have some ADD issues too and they seem to get worse as I get older. Losing my memory doesn't help either. Glad to hear your digestive issues are better. Colonoscopy prep is no fun, but the test isn't bad because you're out. Hope all goes well.

Good Morning,

A beautiful sunny but cold day out there. Rebel day? Hmmmmm....I wonder if I rebel enough and just plain old stop doing things around here whether anyone would get a clue...probably not. I definitely think there's a blind eye running around inside this house. I did watch the Oprah show and the show was basically focused on a family with 4 young children and how the clutter in their lives had totally overtaken their household. If you have ever seen the show Clean Sweep that's how their entire house was. There wasn't an inch of floor space anywhere. It was definitely more than just reorganizing. It was about letting go and all this stuff can just weigh you down. I had to smile when he was talking about the bedroom and how most people want it to be their sanctuary, their get away or however you want to describe it and then he commented on why the car parts are in there. If he could only see the things that have graced my house. I still have the 2 speakers in front of the closet without a home! He did have some good tips.

Workout done and completed for the day. The elliptical and weights and stretches were the workout of the day.

I'm very excited that I'm going to get my hair cut and colored after work. My hair is short and I sprout these wings on my neck and no matter what I do they just have a mind of their own. I'm not ready to let that gray show through so readily so there will be hair dye involved also. Maybe I'll come home like Rhonda and feel like I'm on the wild side! I have meat simmering away in the crockpot for shredded beef sandwiches for dinner. DD can take care of the final prep of those and whatever they decide to have along with it.

Otto may have to miss his evening walk. Vanity may stop me from cramming a hat and a hooded sweatshirt over my newly done hair. I always like to have it look like she does it for at least a day. I'm not sure whether Otto, being an XY, and all will quite understand that.

Nancy-I hope you can catch that cold and will feel 100% for your trip.

Sassy-hope things go well with your test. I know that is something that the GI doctor is going to have me schedule when I go see him next week.

CL-Deb-great news about your friend.

Patty-continued good thoughts and prayers for your sister.

Thankfuls:

My Ipod shuffle with some new music installed to sweat with each morning.

Medication that makes dealing with acid reflux a lot easier.

Warm coats, gloves, scarfs and thermal underwear!

My exercise equipment that I'm so fortunate to own and my ability to use it.

Time to get ready for the working world. It will be the bubbleheads and me this afternoon-oh joy! My coworker has to take her 16 year old for a breast sonogram and biopsy this afternoon- Scary stuff-the doctor is optomistic that it's nothing to be concerned about but he needs to be 100%.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I’ve lost 2 posts already, so am doing this in Word and will cut and paste. So frustrating!

Today is Claudea’s 3rd birthday. I will have to call “Miss Thang” to wish her happy birthday. It was also my grandmother’s birthday, so I know Mom will be thinking of her a lot. Hope Claudea got the pkg. with her stuff (and Andie’s) in it.

It’s supposed to be warm here again in the low to mid-70’s. I’m taking my Crocs to the Republican Women’s Club meeting, so if it is nice, I can go to the beach for a walk. I’m excited about the meeting today, because it’s at our new regular place where we had our Christmas meeting. It’s on the river and has a great view. We meet upstairs, which is even better. I have such a need to be near water. http://www.rivercitybrew.com/

Patty, I am so ready to be rebellious. Maybe it’s the new hairdo (LOL!), but I’m in a rut and need to find something I’m passionate about just for me. I’ve done for and to please others all my life, so I figure it’s finally my time now.

No other set plans for the day. I’m going to try to show a picture of my hair. As usual, I didn’t take a good picture, but you can get an idea of my hair. It really does look better in person where you can see the looseness of the curl. Going to try to fluff it back out today. I had a picture of the back that’s REALLY curly, but accidentally deleted it.

In addition to all the things I’m always thankful for, I’m thankful for:

1. Warm weather, even if it’s brief

2. My fluffy hair, even if it’s temporary

3. The pool part came in and the filter is supposed to be fixed today

4. My wonderful visit with Erin, Joe, and Jackson

5. Quality time with Rob on the ride down and back

6. Good books

7. More quality time with Tim, although I’d still like to increase that

Hope everyone has a great day. I'll try to catch up on posts when I get home this afternoon.
