Good Saturday morning gang. Thanks so much for the good thoughts and prayers for my sister. It all means a lot to me.

If you get a chance pick up MORE magazine this month. It has some great articles about diet and exercise. Yes, it's harder after 40 to keep or get weight off but it can be done! Plus there are some great pictures of women who are over 40. I picked that magazine up yesterday. I also got Runners World because it had an article on knee pain. After reading that article I'm more confused than ever. Who knew pinpointing exactly where your knee pain was would be so hard!! I decided to assume it's the cold.

Loved the answers to our Friday girls night out. Looking forward to Donna's class on Tom!

Plans for today? I'm going to spend

Good Morning,

A beautiful bright sunny morning but still icy and cold. I think Otto and I are both suffering from cabin fever. As much as some nights I hate the thought of getting bundled up and heading out the door I'm really missing those walks right now. They're so good for mental health. I'm hoping that maybe enough of the slop will melt and maybe, perhaps me can get out this afternoon.

I started out the morning with a good paced run/walk on the treadmill. I was definitely ready for hazmat to come take me away after that. Enjoyed breakfast & coffee with DH and now we're both setting out what we plan to do for the day. The house needs a good dose of TLC although it's not going to get that until DH picks me up vaccum bags. Apparently I filled up the existing one and of course no replacement bags to be found in the house. Before the board of health comes in and condems the upstairs bathroom I think that's going to be my first priority. I'm hoping the downstairs one is on DH's list of "to dos". And there's always the ever present mountain of laundry to keep me busy. Trying real hard not to be a worry wart and keep doctor's conversations out of my brain.

Not sure what's on the dinner menu this evening. It's going to be a rare Saturday night that DD is going to be home so I may run to the store and get the fixings for the Chicken Ring. Easy to make and we all like that a lot.

Well I guess time to get moving. Hope everyone is ready for a stupendous Saturday!

"More" also has an article about a book coming out on memory loss at our age. It's called Carved in Sand. I will be getting that.

An article on gaining weight and eating mentioned that a serving of wine is 6 oz. One woman found out she was having the equivalent of 21 servings of wine a week! She said their idea of a serving was her idea of a taste. LOL!

Good morning! It's sunny, but only 38 still here. I should probably go wet down the hibiscus bushes. Usually if you can get any frost off before the sun hits them, it helps.

Tim got home a little before 11, got a bath, ate some snacks, spooned, and fell so soundly asleep almost immediately. It was after 2 AM before I could get to sleep, even lying there in the dark. I had weird dreams too. Things went well though. For his trouble yesterday, the airline gave him

Good morning another long week. I wonder how long its going to take me to adjust and organize. I just worked 15 more hours then usual and it might as well been 30. Today is house cleaning, laundry washing and plain organizing here. Although mid afternoon Bill and I are going to check out a few fire place stores to see about doing the gas insert into our fireplace. Kids are on vacation this week and both have school projects hanging over their heads. I will have to ride them to see they get done early in the week. Bill has left to go to the shop for some bill paying and some banking, the boys are still in bed but that is going to change in a few minutes. I ended up working yesterday until 11:20 then met with my girlfriend for lunch at 11:30. She is doing great and looks good. From there I did some banking and errands and before I knew it Katie was home. No riding last night, too cold and she hurt her foot. So we stayed put and watched some TIVO. Dinner was chineese food and a quiet night of watching TV, which I enjoyed. Not much else happining around here. As I read over these posts and I hear of the extra emails and phone calls I can not help but feel a sense of love and warth that comes from this group of wonderful people. Just know that even though I did not send an extra email or call any of you........you are on my mind 24/7. Your lives are in my heart and mind. Unfortunaly I just seem to go from busy to busier and have not found a balance. But I am thinking of you. Please know that! Have a great day friends.
