Good morning you lovely ladies on this chilly, winter, Sunday morning! I wish I had something rememberable to write unfortunatly all I brought with me to the computer is my morning tea so I will gladly share that! Never expected to see no morning start at 9:30. So what type of tea are you? I know Kathy loves peppermint. I know Sassy hates peppermint. I know Rhonda enjoys a cup of white pear tea. I remember Margie enjoys a plain cup of Lipton like myself. So who else enjoys a cup of tea or are the rest of you our rebel coffee drinkers? The wonders of a cup of tea..................warmth, comfort, antioxidants, sense of being. I know there are more but those are a few I could think of, remember I am only on my first cup. So what do you have planned for today? How is your weather? Any family plans? Any magazines that still need to be read or laundry to iron? Or maybe........just maybe some time alone with that magazine, a hot bath and cup of what ever tea your drinking?

Actually, I love tea.
I do enjoy a cup of tea every now then and again-french vanilla, vanilla caramel, lemon lift but I have to be in the mood and most definitely it's a winter drink for me. I'm still a coffee drinker at times-although I have to say it's crossed my mind it's one of my problems just not sure I'm ready to own up to that fact.
I didn't sleep well last night and couldn't figure out why I was cold until I realized 3/4 of the comforter was on DH. I tried to go back to sleep about 5:15 but like Sassy I was overcome by snoring. I finally got up and stayed up when Otto got up around 6. I tried a half & half caffeine combo of coffee this morning-we'll just it's not working for me. I guess like Sassy I have a bit of a tude this morning for basically the same reasons and just feeling kind of blue mentally and physically.
Took a quick trip to the grocery store. Didn't feel like being there either. I was back at home in record time. I made up a shopping list, couldn't find it so I went without. Who knows what I forgot. I'm trying to make a dent in the laundry pile. The in and out of the washer and dryer is not so bad it's the who's is who's into laundry baskets. Of course no one ever really comes on a regular basis to pick up said baskets.
I'm hoping that a mani/pedi appointment will perk me up a bit. I was hoping to feel a little more energetic to tackle a few things but just don't think it's going to happen. The thermometer says that it's warmer today but that wind is still blowing making it still feel plenty cold. Never did make it out the door with Otto yesterday-maybe today will be the day. So many sidewalks are still ice covered and the streets are just such a slushy sloppy mess it just doesn't make it very appealing.
What is appealing is my book which I'm still trying to get through and I always have magazines to read so that may be my day. We'll see.
Off to finish putting my groceries away before heading over to the nail salon. Have a super Sunday!
