Yesterday I worked in CL. Tried to find jeans I could still get into. Ate brownies and complained nonstop about the weather, how much I hate winter and how tight my jeans are. Makes you glad you don't have to live with me, doesn't it!
Well I started the Sunday morning post and never followed through, such is the story of my life. Actually after I hit the post button yesterday my phone rang. It was my older son asking if I would make french toast? Where are you, I ask? In my bedroom he answers..............click! I go in his room and he sweetly says, I called out but you did not answer so I called you on the phone. These modern day conveniences........OY! Well everyone was up within 5 minutes of this conversation and looking for breakfast. This family bonding thing was getting out of control. Last Monday everyone had dinner together and stayed home. Can you believe that, they all stayed home. Then on Saturday Rob went to work on a detailing job, Billy and Katie spent the day together working on his fish tank and going to the flea market and Bill and I spent the day shopping for our fire place insert and some new furniture for our den. Arrived home and told the kids mom was not cooking and we were going to the fish restruants...anyone care to join us.......they all did. So here we are on Saturday night with everyone again! Now Sunday morning breakfast, what's up here? Anyhow we all went our separate ways around noon time. I went with Billy to the pet store to buy some new fish for his fish tank and then went grocery shopping for the week while Bill hung my towel bars in the upstairs bathroom. Katie went with my MIL to Target and Rob returned to the shop to finish the car he was working on. Skip a few hours to late afternoon, my parents came by for dinner and we "all" had BBQ steak for dinner and watched the end of the Daytona 500. I have to tell you all this time together can wear a mother out and I was exhausted by 10:00, lol.
Hi all,
Getting more caught up on the posts.
Barb
I am taking a few minutes to read the board but I can see that I won't catch up at all.
