Good morning everyone. I'm going to have to ask someone to explain the phrase colder than He**. I had to be down in CL late last night and between the ice, snow , cold and unbelievable wind that phrase kept running thru my mind. It was the only time in 46 yrs I actually considered the good side of he**.

Good Morning,

It is another cold and windy day here. The ice is still thick and many sidewalks are like an ice skating rink. It was an interesting walk with Otto particularly since he took off at at a rund. Since sniffing habits involve many trees and his desire to get me up and on those sidewalks I had to walk with a very short leash. Fortunately when we got down around the school the sidewalks had cleared and he was free to resume his sniffing and there's something about dogs and yellow snow! The young ens' were having a ball sliding down the slope of the school field. If you had a pair of skates you probably could have skated as well.

I'm off today and it was so nice to be able to snuggle under the covers for an extra hour and I actually enjoyed a full night's sleep. It felt so good. I got some time in on the exercise bike and weights. Nice to accomplish that at 7AM instead of 5AM!

Not sure what I'm doing today. I have some phone calls to make including the doctor's office. So based on my conversation with them may help me decide what to do. I have plenty to do around here and since it's so cold and windy I just may plant myself at home. I would like to go bra shopping-the girls need a lift so to speak!

Loved the message this morning Patty! And I actually do have a button from my coat that I keep neglecting!

Time to start making some phone calls-hope everyone is ready for a magnificent Monday!

Good message this morning Patty. Thanks, I believe it expresses how many of us feel, especially this time of the year. Well thank goodness I am off today........yea! But you know what I am my own worst enemy here. I did sleep in, after I woke Bill this morning. I enjoyed one cup of tea and then had to get up and do something so I cleaned the fish filter in my fish tank and I fixed another cup of tea. So here I sit but I feel guilty because this house has so many projects to do...........Katie wants to know what we are doing today and I so much want to shout....NOTHING! But I can't do that, especially since I have to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and she is home on vacation this week. So my game plan is this........finish my post to you ladies, head upstairs and make my bed. From there throw my sweat pants on and do my WATP DVD, and then shower. While I am doing that Katie will finish making her bed and work on her report that is due when she gets back to school. I will most likely throw a batch of laundry on to swirl around while I do the other stuff. Hop into the shower and attempt to be dressed by 1:00. I think Katie and I will then head out for some errands. I need to hit the pharmacy for Katie's heart medicine, then over to the small appliance store for vacuum bags (I ran out completely and I an in desperate need of this place to be vacuumed), then over to Kohl's where I saw they had Core balls. I promised Katie we would buy a small one for her so we could do the Core tape together. I need to stop at the pet store too because my light in my fish tank is broken and I dislike it so dark at night. There was talk with my sister about a movie with the kids but I have not talked to her since Saturday night and the dog situation. I need to call her and check in......she may want to do the movies still. Well that is it for now. Have a wonderful day my friends and stay warm.

Hello, everyone! Happy Presidents Day and I hope you have off and enjoying a 3 day weekend.

I have literally not been around. I was away in NC for 12 days and came home to older DD just getting out of the hospital. She is pregnant and very sick and lost 11 lbs in 2 weeks. She is home with a pump that delivers anti nausea medicine but still pretty sick. I came home on Monday from NC and unpacked and packed again to stay with DD and help her out with granddaughter who is under 2. I am home now and "have a 3 day weekend" since Son in Law is home from work. I actually got to the gym today and I have to figure out a way to take care of me for my health.

I caught a little of what is going on here. Rhonda, I am so sorry you are going through this with your DH but I see you both are taking positive steps to get through this. I am praying it helps and love will win through.

So sorry to hear the news about your sister Patty. She is in my prayers also, as well as you.

Hoping you hear from the doctor today Susan. You have really been through the mill.

I am going to try to catch up a little more before I do some marathon cleaning. Don't know when a vacuum or dust cloth was used last.

Hugs to all and I hope and pray things are ok with my buddies here.

Grace

PS...Love the button story too! With what is going on here with one thing right after the other, I am happy to report extra buttons show up once in awhile here too. My friends here are the best extra buttons.
