It's been a good day, so far. I always feel I have to knock on wood when I say that lately. It was busy, for sure.

Weather has been beautiful. The Walgreen's thermometer showed 80 when I passed by a little after 4:00. I would have walked on the beach today, but had an afternoon dr. appt. Didn't want to go with sand stuck to my feet.

I left the house in time to get to my OB/GYN appt. for my 3rd silver nitrate treatment. He said the granulated tissue is down to about 3 - 4% of what it originally was, so that was very good news. Now, we shouldn't have to do cryosurgery or cauterizing, thankfully. I lost 6 1/2 lbs. in 1 1/2 weeks.

Since my afternoon appt. was up that way too, I decided I didn't want to come all the way back home. Went to Costco and got the book I've gotten 4 things about from various sources on the internet called The Secret. I heard Oprah has had 2 shows about it too. It's basically about the Law of Attraction. I took time to read about 35 pages while I had lunch alone at Arby's, and it looks very good. This is a great time for me to be reading it, and I'd love to get my mother and older sister to read it too. They tend to focus on the negative and that's a very bad thing. I also got some of the new collapsable plastic storage containers for food that take up way less space than regular ones. My cabinet that holds those is a mess, and I want to get rid of all the old ones.

After lunch I checked out all the women's shoes at DSW. Didn't find a single pair I couldn't live without. Drove to the other end of the Town Center and looked in several depts. at Dillard's. Didn't find a single thing there either, but I made up for it later at other places. I left and was driving back towards where my appt. was when I got a call from Tim. He'd had another dr. appt. this morning, then went with his sister to help her buy a car. I asked if he'd picked her up yet, and he said he was finished! I couldn't believe it. He must have set a record. Finished the deal in 43 minutes!!! It usually takes hours. He got her a late model Jaguar S Series in British Racing Green. She'd had one before and liked it a lot.

He asked if I wanted to meet him at the Town Center for lunch. How weird is that?? Turns out, they'd met there and left his car
