Good Morning,

Enjoy your weekend off Patty! I'm sure you'll find something to keep you busy :)!

It's a cold and windy morning out there although for now the sun is shining. After such a pleasant uninterrupted night's sleep on Thursday I'm back to the early morning wake up. 4:15 on a Saturday morning is just WRONG!

I had one more blood test to go through in the GI's doctor's quest for an explanation for what I think is just going to remain an unresolved issue. I think this whole thing has him mystified and wants everything ruled out so back to the lab this morning for one more needle and a rather large vial of blood. I made sure they used my left arm-I'm still pretty bruised from Thursday.

I was the first one in the lab and could have come home for some treadmill time but it remained just a thought in my head. Maybe I'll be inspired later. I will have to get out the Cuddle Duds and get Otto out for a walk. He hasn't been out since Tuesday. No one else feels the need to walk the dog when I can't.

A quick trip to Costco this morning and I really do need to clean up around here. I was happy to see the shovels finally made their way out of my front hallway and back to the basement. My vaccum cleaner has been sitting in the living room for inspiration to use it but it sits lonely and quiet. Hopefully today it will get some use.

Dinner is a question at the moment. I'm going to dig through the freezer and see what appeals to me.

DD is still suffering from her ear infection. She called the doctor yesterday and he seems to think it's something viral. Meanwhile she feels like there's water sloshing around in her head and she's having trouble with hearing out of that ear. She's going to try to get into see the ENT on Monday and see if there's something that he can do for her.

Nothing much else going on in my neck of the woods. I hear DH rummaging around in the kitchen so that must mean breakfast is coming my way!

Hope everyone has a super Saturday!

My spouse keeps saying to me, "why do you need WW or a gym membership or...blah blah blah...you already KNOW what you need to do".

In each fitness "success" story the methods used were the same; cardio, weights and a good diet.

Princess, When I have "success" ... this is the method that works... :)

Lauren, Michael, Andie, and Claudea are at Mom and Dad's!! Andie called to let me know. She wanted to talk to Rob, but he was asleep. I'm still trying to force him to get up to go with me. He and his friend went to the concert in Orlando, but were back by 1:30, so I don't think it's so hard on him to get up after 11:30. I can't wait to see how the girls have grown.

It's beautiful here, but a little windy. I cranked up the heater on the pool, so the girls can go in. Water temp is only 79 now, but should get into the 80's. I attempted to put together the storage seat, but it really takes 2 to do that. I did get the hose reel together, but the hose is not in it yet. Need to get out the air compressor to blow up the huge pool see-saw.

More later.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Hello, Everyone! I sure wish I saw that fitness show Patty. Being part of the industry, it would have been very informative and useful with people who take my classes. Hope you get to enjoy your weekend off!

My original plan for today...taking it easy and recharging my batteries...ended up being changed completely. Woke up to no heat at 5 am. The thermostat read 57 degrees! Anyway, just got back under my cover until DH got up and he finally did at 7:50. I then said it might be a good idea to jump the start the oil burner. Got up at 8 but house was still cold, so jumped in the shower and headed to the gym. At least they had heat. Went produce shopping and invited DD and her DH over for dinner. IT is his b'day. So, I have been cooking (tried to make risotto) and made his favorite...meatloaf. What is it with guys and meatloaf? Told DD to bring dessert so I can sit for awhile.

Now I am waiting for the oil burner service guy to come. DH was trying to fix the situation himself but the darn thing keeps going out.

Susan...you were lucky to be the first one at the lab. Do you go to Quest? I have always waited a minimum of an hour. I hate going there. I hope you get inspired to take care of you some today. You know...that darn vacuum will wait for you for another time. I am sure Otto loves the attention you give him with all the walking.

Sassy...hope you enjoy your live simulcast today and find it enlightening. Good choice with the turkey sandwich. If you find the secret for getting motivated, please let me know. I thought WW would do it for me, but it isn't. Maybe destressing will help. How long can I blame cortisol for my weight issues? I might have used that card up. And I do know what to do...for goodness sake...I am a fitness instructor. Grrrrrrrrrr! HAGD

Mn/Deb...hope your day brightens up. Remember...everyday is a new beginning so forget about last week and start fresh when you are ready. Life sure does throw a lot of curves (and gives them in the wrong places on our bodies too...LOL).

Kat...I know that virus babies can get and I can't think of the name of it either right now...meno brain at work again. I hope the baby is doing better and has a full recovery. Sounds like you have been really busy. Hope you can find some time for you this weekend.

Rhonda...enjoy your day with the family visiting. It is always so good to see out of town family and those kids do grow like weeds. Hope things are getting better by you. Did you get to do Rumba yesterday?

Well...that is it for now. Time to get back to cooking and stuff. Enjoyed out chat.

Keep on keeping on!
