Good morning gang! We were due to get about an inch of snow over night. So far I'm looking at about 4.Another prediction gone wrong.

Good Morning, Patty.
Hi Patty,
We are suppose to get snow but it's not suppose to amount to much.
The Journey Is Just As Good As The Destination - A Dear Friend
Good Morning,
The sun is out at the moment but we are supposed to get some kind of "weather"event. Some say tonight, some say tomorrow. I'll just keep looking out the window and see if any of it comes true! But I really hope it doesn't. I think I'm about done with the winter season.
Totally blown day yesterday. I don't know what was wrong with me but mentally I was working on less than a full deck. The simplest things were throwing me off and I just didn't feel right. I have a huge purple bruise where they took blood yesterday. Maybe I'm still recovering from the whole dehydration thing. I think DH was looking for dinner last night but it just wasn't happening. He ended up fending for himself and there was some grumbling about burning things etc.
I had another wake up at 4:15 but fortunately I went back to sleep until Otto decided he needed breakfast about 6:15. Still not quite all there in the head this morning but I've been working on menus for the week and putting together a grocery list. I'm just hoping that now that the word "snow" is in the forecast everyone doesn't descend on the grocery store at once. I have a nail appointment scheduled and then I'm going to try to restore order to the household this afternoon. DH was involved in some type of project in the basement so he wasn't any help to trying to get things cleaned up around here. We will never ever see eye to eye about weekend cleanup around here and my frustration with it all. He feels it's perfectly alright that if I don't do it it just sits undone until the following week which just doubles everything for the next weekend. Apparently it only bothers me.
It was so nice to get out into the fresh air yesterday afternoon. The weather had warmed up yesterday afternoon and Otto and I enjoyed a nice walk. Hopefully it will be a duplicate afternoon and we'll get out again.
Time to get dressed and on my way to the grocery store. Hope everyone enjoys a great Sunday.
Susan
Good Morning!
I was up bright and early after a relaxing evening of DVDs, red wine and low-fat pizza with DH. It's our idea of a hot date at this point in life.
I logged on earlier--someone mentioned dinner in their post and I ran off to get my crockpot loaded up with the makings of an Irish stew. I also ended up making a few other things for later and doing 2 loads of laundry. So now I am back to do my Sunday Morning check-in.
I was down a pound at Weight Watchers yesterday. It is slow going now that I am getting close to my goal again. It is always this way. The closer to goal, the harder it is to get a pound off! DD on the other hand is losing like a maniac and I am very happy for her. We did our usual Saturday lunch at Applebee's and dropped her car off for some repairs. Then I spent the day with DH doing the shopping and finally unwinding watching two movies from Redbox. I just recently discovered Redbox-- a video rental vending machine. Every movie is $1.00! How great is that? And we have one at the Harris Teeter that is an easy walk from where we live, so it makes for great cheap entertainment.
Yesterday I did my Belly Dance Basic move video in the morning and then Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Stress tape in the afternnon. My daughter actually said she can see some weight loss on me. What a sweetheart! As I mentioned, it's been some SLOW progress, but I know that is probably the healthiest for me.
It is snowing here, which is OK with me. I am used to snow and actually could stand a little more than we get in Virginia, having lived in more northern climates most of my life. My only concern is that it does not interfere with my flight to Orlando tomorrow. I am going for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for work, and I will not be seeing Mickey or anything; however, I do plan to hit the hotel pool on Monday afternoon when I get there! It will probably be my only chance, as Tuesday and Wednesday are booked solid. I am taking along my exercise DVDs and stretchie band, so I can do quick workouts in the room, morning and evening.
I've been mixing up my routines a little bit--digging out my old Richard Simmons tapes and my Belly Dance videos and adding them to my WATP workouts.
Hey, is anyone else here a Grey's Anatomy fan?? I just want to say that I was totally into Meredith's near death experience. I particulary liked that she got to see her dog and that she had some closure with her mother. Anyone else catch that?
Looking forward to everyone's posts.
Have a great Sunday and a wonderful week.

Your workouts sound fun, and how great that your weight loss is showing.

Good afternoon!
We have the power to make each day a great new start -- don't need to wait for Monday or the beginning of a new year. I'm seeing that more clearly now and am trying my darnest to make it happen for me. I am picturing and feeling myself at my perfect weight, my marriage just the way I want it, my health as perfect with no aches and pains, and the decision that
