Well, it is getting to be evening, so I guess I'd better get in my workout.
I got some awesome new leggings and jog bras for a great price at Wal-Mart today, so it's time to go break them in.
Then it will be pack the suitcase for Florida and get ready for a relaxing evening with dh, the dog and the cats.
The Irish Stew turned out yummy--I went heavy on the veggies and light on the beef and potatoes so tht DD and I could eat big bowls full of it for very few calories and points, but it was very satisfying.
Have a good evening everyone.
I'll have my laptop on my trip, so I'll check in from sunny Orlando!

Hi All,
Boy, this day has gone by quick.
Barb
Barb..congrats on your 1 lb off...1 lb is good, very good!
Good Sunday Evening everyone! The day was relaxing and went by too quickly. I am waiting for the snow to start. It is always a surprise around here with the weather because the meteorologists are usually wrong, so you never know until you look out the window. I am hoping it isn't much so I can go to the gym tomorrow morning. Good news yesterday...DD actually came over for a little while and she is looking a little better. It was good for all to be out of the house and have a change of scenery...especially for 22 month old granddaughter.
New exercise clothes are neat and I love the deals I find sometimes at Walmart. Who knew you could get Danskin workout wear there and in different lengths? Enjoy your trip to Orlando...hope you have lots of sunshine, KIM.
Hi, BARB...I don't get to see my out of state children much either so I know what you mean about enjoying their visits. Congrats on the lb lost...every one counts! Good luck with your doctor appointment and I hope you hear something to help with your carpal tunnel.
Definitely ready for spring here, PATTY. Not ready to spring the clocks ahead though! It seems like it takes me a whole week to get used to the "lost hour". Sometimes I wish they would just leave them alone all year.
I think every Monday is new beginnings day for me SASSY. I am hopeless with sticking to anything lately except the exercise. Just don't know why I can't get the other half together. One would think I wouldn't want to self sagatoge myself so much. Good luck on your new start tomorrow Sassy!!
Wow KATHY...no laptop? I did bring mine when I went away and truthfully, I didn't use it much at all. I think my granddaughters used it more than I did for their WEBKINZ. They are so funny and cute with them and when they have more than one computer to interact with each other. Oh, I forgot...grandson has one too! Have a good time on your trip if I don't get a chance to say so before you leave. Glad you had a nice birthday.
Sometimes it takes days to get the sedatives out of your system SUSAN. I hope you did better today. The grocery stores were crowded around here today....good thing I didn't need anything. Easy for me to say, but try not to let the house get to you. The darn things are going to stand longer than we are.
Have to say, I just love leftovers, DEB! I try to cook big batches of things so I can have leftovers for when I am too busy to make a home cooked meal. As long as there is something in the fridge, we don't need fast food. Haven't been in fast food place in years. I think the last time was when I had a salad with cl DEB after my first foot surgery. Hope you get to do what you really want to do this week with the change in the confirmation. Sometimes it is OK to just stay home with hubby.
Oh, that is a lot of snow, MN DEB! I can see why you are really ready for spring. We are still waiting for a "significant" amount and I am sure we will get at the worst time. Hard to stay on track when so busy. Just remember to take care of you when things are less hectic.
Nice thoughts, RHONDA! Positive thinking does help a lot. I have been really trying to see the good in DH and making an extra effort to point it out to him (and me). I think I got it from the Oprah show. But, the more I stop and thank him for the little things, the better I feel. Hope you had a nice time at the b'day party. The little mermaid is one of my favorites..maybe because it was one of the first of the new generation Disney movies.
KAREN!! Congratulations on the weight loss! Good for you! You have a great attitude and it is wonderful you found what works for you. Hope you had a wonderful day. Shopping with DD can be fun.
NANCY...nice seeing a post from you too. Sounds like a nice trip but sorry you have such a long drive. Don't worry about the scale...you will get back on track in no time once home and on a "schedule."
I think I got everyone for now. If I missed anyone, sorry.
I am off to get in my comfy pj's. The cold dampness seems to be creeping into the house even with the heat running almost constantly.
See you tomorrow....hopefully after the gym which means not much snow and good road conditions.

Have a good trip to Orlando! Hope the weather is sunny & warm!
Congratulations to you and your DD on the weight loss! It's great that you're doing it together. Dinner sounds yummy!
Susan
Congratulations on your weight loss! You're doing great. Hope you enjoy your time with your DD. My younger DD moved to MA almost 2 years ago and I miss having her around. Other DD is still at home but spends most of her weekends with her BF which makes it just the XY's and me! Congratulations on getting the taxes done-I gave up trying to do them on my own-but still haven't called the accountant! Good luck with your appointment with the doctor.
Susan
Glad to hear your DD is feeling better. That must be tough having a 22 month old and be that sick. I'm sure she really must appreciate having you close by to help her out. I hear you on the weather thing. I've heard at least 3 different forecasts-I'm like you I'll just look out the window and see what happens!
The sedatives do seem to stay with me for awhile. Last time it was about 3 days and this seems to be about the same. I have been feeling better as the day has worn on. I really hate that foggy headed feeling!
Hope the weather isn't too bad and you're able to get to the gym in the morning.
Susan
Pretty nice overall day. I got my grocery shopping done first thing this morning. Loaded up on lots of fruits and veggies. I got my new Cooking Light magazine. Already have some meals planned from it! Cleaned out the "must gos" from the refrigerator and got the groceries put away and then on to have my nails done. It was very quiet in there so I got my massage and a nice hot towel for the back of my neck-sure hit the spot.
I've been feeling much better as the day went on. Still some fog on the brain and I do hope that when I payed the bills this evening that the right check went in the right envelope.
I sat and read for awhile this afternoon and finished "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn". DH had bought it for me for Christmas and I really enjoyed it.
The house got put back into an acceptable state. I'm certainly not a neat freak but I like the house presentable that if someone happens to stop by that I don't feel like I need to apologize for what my house looks like. I thought I had finished up the laundry-but it's back!
I had picked up some whole wheat tomato, basil and mozzerella ravioli in Costco yesterday. I'm not a big whole wheat pasta fan but these were very good. I made a marinara sauce to go over them and a light version of a caeser salad dressing and oh so good!
Karen-great job on that weight loss! And if you're still in the decluttering mode come on over to LI-I've got a whole house full!
Kathy-glad that you had a nice birthday. Your nephew is such a sweetie! Hope your trip to Florida is wonderful and relaxing!
J-Deb-enjoy the party!
I think it's that time to put on the jammies and look over the book shelf and find a new book to start.
Night all-sweet dreams to all!
Your party sounds like such fun.
