Weather definitely took a downward spiral. It started off so sunny and nice and by the time I left to get my nails done the wind was howling and there were actually big flakes of snow coming down before the sun came back out...briefly!
It was a day of finishing up laundry. I'm really surprised that the washer and dryer haven't gone into self destruct mode. It's been whirling and twirling all day long. In between washing, drying, folding and putting away I've been doing a lot of reading. DH also fixed my shredder so that's been getting a work out as well. I had about 3 years of cell phone bills sitting in a folder. Not sure why there were so many years since I'm usually pretty good about destroying those kind of things each year.
Otto and I headed out for a late afternoon walk. I was quite the vision in my yellow ski jacket with the hood from my pink sweatshirt and a purple hat. Quite the fashion statement! But I was warm and that's really all that counts.
Dinner was a light version of alfredo sauce with shrimp over spinach fettuccine. Quite tasty.
I spoke to my DD in MA. She has another lead on a job prospect. Her BF's roommate has an opening at the place where he works. She's working on where to submit her resume. So keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer that maybe this opportunity will work out. She's funny-she calls me every Sunday for dinner ideas. I've emailed her a whole bunch of recipes and she usually calls me from the grocery store with a million questions. She is discovering that she enjoys cooking.
Rhonda-really sorry to hear that your Dad had another fall and the tension with your Mom. Lots of prayers for all of you.
Sassy-thinking of you. Hope all goes well with your tests tomorrow.
Well that's about it from my neck of the woods. I'm about ready to settle in for the night. I need to remember to set my alarm and get those workout clothes ready for the morning.
Hope you've all enjoyed your day! Sweet dreams to all!
Checking in before I settle in with a glass of wine and watch, Amazing Race, Desperate Housewives, & Brothers & Sisters.. Sunday night is one of my favorite nights for tv...

I have long since given up "glamour" for "warmth"!
We had a very nice day today.
