Good morning gang!! Anyone else picturing Nancy shedding shirts as she walks? Sassy, thinking of you today. Rhonda, I'm so sorry for your Moms hurtful comment.

Learn from the past, set vivid, detailed goals for the future, and live in the only moment of time over which you have any control: now.

I watched a program on menopause last night, yes it's come to that. The speaker addressed women needing to have control over situations. We want to make sure everyone is happy, all their needs taken scare of, we want to fix everything. Good grief no wonder we're tired and overwhelmed!!

Good Morning,

Not sure whether anyone, including myself, is ready for me by anyone's pool in a bikini! Actually not even sure when I last wore a bathing suit.

Cold and gray day out there. I did have a robin sighting on Saturday so that must be a sign that spring is out there.

My workout clothes actually got used this morning. Exercise bike and weights were the workout of the day.

It's kind of wierd around here. I actually finished all the laundry yesterday and put it away. So there is no whirling and twirling, no full laundry baskets to put away. The house is in order, dinner is an easy put together after 5 meal and I'm not used to it. But it feels good!

An after dinner stroll with the beast and not sure what other after 5 plans there are. I still have my basket of shredding to do. Just may see how much I can get out of the shredder before it says enough.

Nancy-hope the first day back at work is a good one. Sounds like you're refreshed and relaxed and ready to get back at it.

Sassy-thinking good thoughts for your test today.

Hope everyone enjoys a good start to a new week ahead!

I have to make this a short morning post for surely I am going to be late this morning. Got Katie and Bill out on time. Rob was in the bathroom from 7:10 until I banged on the door at 7:45 reminding him that Billy was supposed to be in work at 8:00 and we both still needed showers. Rob is now upstairs "getting dressed" and Billy just left. I am allowing the hot water heater to make some more hot water.............in the meantime I washed the kitchen floor, made my bed and read some morning posts. Its a full work day and at lunch time I need to cash my pay check. I need to pay my electic bill or they are going to literally pull the plug! After work I told Katie we would take her digital camera to CVS and have some of her pictures developed. Dinner is going to be some baked chicken and brown rice. Back on program for me. I am thinking maybe I will skip tomorrow night but I know that is not a good habit to start. My eatting while away was not totally horrible but my eatting yesterday was. Bill brought in Irish Soda Bread and well I think I ate 85% of the loaf myself. Corned Beef was dinner so I am sure my sodium level is high too. Well best to get moving here, I hope you all have a wonderful day today. Sassy thinking of you this morning, I hope your proceedure goes well and quick.

I had a tankini several years ago. It was comfortable and much more convenient than a one-piece when going to the restroom, but I didn't like that there was no support in the mid-section. It didn't do anything to hold my waist/abdomen in. If you don't need that, it's not an issue, but I did and I do. I made sure the one I got had a top that came all the way to the waistline of the bottom. Some of them are designed to show a little skin. I didn't want one of those.

Thanks for the kind words and hugs. :-)

I hope you're feeling better soon. Hormones can be such a bear! Perfectionism is an impossible taskmaster. Striving for excellence is great, perfection is often futile. I keep telling myself that too, yet when other people expect it of you, it's hard not to feel that way as well.

Did you see in my other post that I'm considering some belly dancing classes? Your enthusiasm for it is a major factor.

Take it easy on Lori today, OK?

Hugs,

Patty, I didn't realize you were doing WW. Shows how out of it I've been. WW makes ice cream treats. I think their drumsticks have fewer points. Their big fudge bars are like frozen frosties and have only a couple of points.

Sassy, hope your testing goes well. What a relief it will be to have that finished.

Karen, hope you're feeling better and that the dr. can find some relief for you. The bioidentical progesterone cream that the compounding pharmacist/OBGYN makes for me works wonders. I had saliva testing done first, which is supposed to be more accurate than bloodwork to measure hormone levels.

I have a dr. appt. at 1:45. Actually, I couldn't remember when I'd moved it to when Lauren was here, so I left a message at their office. Turns out it was for tomorrow at their Beaches office, but she's able to get me in today at the one where I usually go.

After I finish my appt., Rob and I are supposed to get him fitted for his prom tux. Nothing like waiting till the last minute. I think it's in 5 days!! I'm not sure if his date has even gotten her dress. I need to order flowers, but want to make sure they match. We always did things like this way in advance. Of course, our proms were in May instead of March. Seems so early.

Erin starts her new job today! They already had a full schedule planned for her. I want to send flowers to her office, but can't get the address straight. I've looked it up on the internet and get something different from what she said when I tried to confirm it. I'll have to do more research on that.

Lauren and Michael and the girls finally made it home at 8 AM yesterday. They drove all night after being up all day. There was a 4 1/2 hour traffic jam in SC. Can you imagine?? Poor Michael then had to drive his son an hour back to his school, drive home, and be ready to go to work at 7 PM and then had to work again this morning. I don't know how many
