We are very upset that Riley is missing. Rob went in the attic again tonight. This time I held the ladder! He had a big Maglite to search everywhere he could get to, but no luck. I discovered when I went out today that one of the little screened openings in the trim on the house is busted out. She could have fit through that. I just don't know why we wouldn't have seen her around or heard her. She is used to being fed. I'm really concerned, because she doesn't have front claws to defend herself, and we have wild animals in the ravine across the street. I'm getting stuff to make signs about her tomorrow. Please pray she's OK and that we find her. She's such a sweet little thing.
Tim is sicker too. I'm just a regular Little Miss Sunshine tonight, aren't I? He got home about 5:30 and got a shower, ate some sandwiches in bed, then went to sleep. I napped a little with him, but got up earlier this evening.
Had my roots done and a trim today. Feel so much better! My hairdresser and I couldn't believe how much my hair had grown in 7 weeks. Neither of us had seen my roots that long. I've made an appt. for 5 weeks from now to get the highlights redone too. She left some length, but shortened some layers to get the weight off the top. I'll see how it looks when I fix it tomorrow, because I had her only partially dry it today.
It was a gorgeous day here. Must have been close to 80. I cleaned leaves from the pool basket in the deck, then had some fantastic hammock time with a slight breeze and listening and watching the various kinds of birds, the clouds,
Oh, yes!! So much new and exciting in my world! Ok, not really but it was fun to say.
Inspite of the forecast I headed out in bright glaring sunshine to get to my hair appt. Came home in the same. The snow finally reached us at about 6pm. Came out of CL to a snow covered ground and it was
I knew a couple of people from Warrenton years ago, but I can't remember who they are. Just remember someone talking about it when I was in MD. Have a cousin from here who's lived in WVA for many years, but couldn't tell you where, His dad is my favorite uncle though. I hope your trips are lots of fun and that those places are ready for you! :-)
As for a bird name, of course, Chickie or some kind of Chickie is the first thing that came to mind. Let's hope it isn't something like Blue Footed Booby or Roseate Spoonbill!!! LOL! I only know about the BFB, because decades ago there was a song about it on Captain Kangaroo when Erin and I used to watch.
I put out dry cat food on our sidewalk near the front door twice last night and both times it's been gone. I am SO hoping it's Riley getting it. I'm on the lookout and will still put signs out front.
Tim said he felt just as bad this morning, but he does sound better. He snored so loud last night I thought he was going to pull the paint off the bedroom walls! I got back up again at midnight to take 2 Tylenol PM for that and a dull headache I'd developed. It's gone this morning.
Weather should be great again today. I have my RWCDF luncheon meeting and am looking forward to that. Love the new location. I should take my camera and get some pictures at the
