Good evening all...hope you had a nice weekend. My unplanned weekend went well and ended up very full. Today was a walk at a small local beach, picking up some food at an Italian market and then DD coming over surprising us. We ended up sharing out goodies and I threw together some spaghetti with zucchini, onions, olive oil, as well as a salad. It was kind of a celebration for the good 3 month check up with internist and good blood work results.
Thank you DONNA about the good word about the colonoscopy. Everyone close to me had trouble with them so I was not looking forward to it, actually still not, but I really have to do it for peace of mind. Lucky us..no girls scouts came around again. Haven't had any in years!!
So glad you found Riley, RHONDA. I can picture the smile on your face when you think of him. Enjoy your visit and hope you had a safe ride to the airport. Oh I love that salad at Chilis. Those quesadillas are just too tempting that come with it.
Sounds like the rest of you had an interesting Sunday and some family time too.
OH...DD has made a complete turnaround. She feels good, is off the pump, and has quite a belly so far. She is just starting her 4th month too! I will be going over there tomorrow for the last time since her DH is going upstate for school board/district budget meetings.
Hoping for a really healthy week ahead. Wish it for all of you too.
Hi Donna! Sounds like a very nice weekend. I hope the work week ahead isn't too crazy for you. The headache finally wore off late last night, this was tougher one than they have been.My hormones
Hello ladies, its almost bed time. Man this day flew by for me. After I posted this morning I got my butt in gear and ran the vacuum cleaner upstairs and down. I did another 2 batches of laundry then I showered. My middle sister called, she got out of work early, her husband was home watching the kids and wanted to know if I felt like shoping. We went to Home Goods together, what a great store. I bought 2 king size pillows to put into my new pillow shams for my bed, also bought these really pretty light blue wine glasses and a new spring table clothe for my dinningroom. Came home and chatted with Billy a little. Did some ironing and then the two of us went out to dinner. He took his mom out to eat and he drove too. I am getting old........boo hoo! We had seafood.......he had twin lobsters and I had broiled scallop and shrimp. YUM! I spoke to Bill when Billy and I were leaving for dinner around 6:00, they were just finishing up. Rob went to the finals in his class but lost because of a red light. He had to run his best friend Johnny. He also came went to the semi finals in his quick 16 class so he is off to a good start. I would love for him to win a race or two. In 8 years of driving he has never won a single race. He is so over due. After dinner I finished up my ironing and my basket is completely empty. Nothing good on tonight so I think I will head upstairs to my heated blanket and read one of my many magazines. Tomorrow should be a busy day at work and if I can get in a little early it would help tons. Not sure if I mentioned but I took off on Tuesday since Katie and Sharon are coming home around 10:15. Figure we could spend some time together. Yes I missed her lots and it felt weird. With her not around I got lots of me time. But I must say even when she is home and doing her own thing I get plenty of me time, its just weird being in the house alone. Takes some getting used too. Donna, sounds like a nice day with your older neice. Is she the sister of the two younger ones you visit with often? Sounds like a good day with hubby too. Hope you got to rest up with the busy work week ahead. Has Miss Kathy gotten back from her Florida trip yet? Please let her know I was asking about her. Nancy, hope you had a wonderful ride today. I do not think I would be brave enough to head out on a motor cycle yet. Bill asked me to join them and I said no thanks because that track is always windy and 10 degrees colder and I was right. Did you have a good ride and where did you go for dinner? Karen, hope your son had a wonderful birthday. Did you make a special dinner? What did he think of his gifts? Did you wrap them or just present them? Rhonda, sorry that your dad is not much better and your mom is not feeling well now. I am glad to read that your sister is in town and I hope that helps you all out. Nice read what a wonderful afternoon you had with Tim. Good signs!!!! Thought the planter that Rob and his friend made sounds nice. Waiting for you to down load your pictures and share........you know we are not patient. Patty, how was that head ache today? You made me laugh about Bob sitting in the window looking for you. We have Tiger at the front door pawing it when we go out now. He sits there and meows..........he has snuck out a few times and I worry. Susan, how was your visit with your dd and her boyfriend? Is this the dd that lives in MA? How was your turkey breast? As you can read above I did not cook anything. Rather did dinner out and come to think about it I never ate breakfast or lunch today...........Jdeb, glad to hear you did not go running in that bad weather. That would have lead to someone getting sick. Oak cabinets are still nice and if they are still
I love Home Goods! For a while, I was haunting that place almost daily. Things change constantly there.
Really sorry that Robbie didn't win, but at least he came close. His time will surely come. Good that he's doing something with his dad. How sweet for Billy to take you to dinner. It sounded yummy!
I need to get my Rob to show me how to download my pictures to the site
Nancy, I thought of you when I saw all the bikers heading north on I-95 this morning and then later in the day. Bike Week (biggest biker event in the country) is just ending, so hundreds of thousands of them are going home.

My gf in Alki Beach told me again how miserable we would have been running the race today--she said it's really windy downtown.

Everytime I read that you have another migraine, I feel so bad for you. I was hoping they'd be getting better instead of worse. Thank goodness
