So...how is that circadian rhythm going for you with DST today? :o)

Great idea about the paint samples on the wall. It could be a new trend so watch out LOL!

Sounds like an "exciting" day.

Son in Law ended up on the evening news talking about going to Albany to get state aid. He is a "trustee on the board of ed".

I had those paint sample cards taped all over my kitchen walls and cabinets for about a year and then I ended up going with something entirely different by the time I made up my mind!

Monday is over-YEAH! Work was interesting in an odd sort of way. During our "office meeting" last week we were told that the office was losing our new associate because of the noise level. He sits in an open office area but turns out the guy got fired after 5 on Friday. Sunshine was back to her usual self. Blondie is on one end of the office and Sunshine on the other and they're conversing about Blondie's hair-dark brown underneath and white blonde on the top (whole other story there!)co worker tells her she's being rather loud and she announces that the boss will tell her when she's being too loud. Did she not hear the part about personal conversations and walking to each other's desk and not talking across the office. Guess she just didn't get the general gist of the tirade!

DD called. She got an email from the woman she hopes to interview with. Apparently she was very impressed with her resume and feels that she fits all the qualifications for the job and is highly recommended from the employee that she thinks very highly of-so looks like an interview is at hand this week and keeping good thoughts that a job offer will follow.

Otto and I enjoyed our walk in the DST. It was a beautiful evening for it. It was great to see kids out playing and people still in the park. Little by little I think we'll be seeing more and more people out doing an evening walk or run. Otto made a new doggie friend too!

That's about it from this neck of the woods. Hope you all enjoy a good evening.

I have started about 4 posts today and then I get distracted and wander away and then when I come back, forget they are open and started and have exited out...Flo will be here any day now and it so shows in my fuzzy brain!

Actually had a good day.

Your pre-Flo brain sounds a lot like mine is all the time now. Frustrating, isn't it?? Love chicken and dumplings. It's a cold weather food for us, and our winter has been so warm this year that I haven't made them.

Really happy to hear your niece is doing so well. Your sister is a better woman than I am!!

Another rough day here, but the "added" daylight helps me cope. Fortunately, Dad is not hospice material. I don't know where Lisa got that. He is failing in a number of ways, but he could go on this way for some time with medical help. In that respect, it was good news. The bad news is that he is so incredibly weak that he can't even sit up by himself. The nurse feeds him and helps him hold a cup. His hands shake. He is in terrible pain. Cheryl was there long enough to observe a lot yesterday, and she was convinced that he has something else worse (physically) wrong with him.

He had a lot of fluid on his left knee, which was causing him a lot of pain. That was finally aspirated late this afternoon. I was in radiology waiting with him for
