Good morning everyone. Like Sassys our weather went from a sunny 70 to a cold wet miserable 40. Nothing like being in a green house when wind and rain comes thru. Add 5 men in there with you and you begin to question where you are in life....

The link above takes you, hopefully, to a really neat movie. One that I think is very inspiring. I've been using "embrace" a lot this past year. I decided to embrace my 40s and embrace March. There is a line in the

Good Morning,

What a gloomy day. We've got the mixed bag of weather stuff going on...rain, snow, and apparently the worst of it still to come or so they say this morning. Definitely no signs of spring this morning. Although there was a beautiful bright red cardinal sitting in my snowball tree this morning.

Never did get up for a workout this morning. The alarm went off and I basically ignored it. I woke up feeling all sweaty and clammy and a headache. It didn't help that I walked into the kitchen and found a loaf of bread melted to the top of the toaster. I'm not sure how you don't see not one but two loaves of bread sitting there when you put something in the toaster and then get asked why weren't they put away? I'm not sure why they weren't put away since he was the last one to use them. This was after DS asked me last night at 10:30 whether he had any clean clothes for work...well you'd better look and if you don't you'd better get that washer and dryer whirling and twirling so my philosophy for men this morning....is the following woman's prayer...

Dear Lord, I pray for wisdom, to understand a man, to love and to forgive him and for patience, for his moods. Because Lord, if I pray for Strength I'll just beat him to death

(please bear in mind this was passed along to me by my husband!)

For now I'm hoping that the headache clears, my dealing with the petty things in life improves, and that the work day passes with the blink of an eye!

I'm now off to try to find a pair of matching socks. I'm really not sure how I'm going to do that. The washer and dryer seems to be eating them on a regular basis these days.

Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday!

Good morning Miss P! Our weather is just plain gross and I believe we are getting hit with what you had yesterday. They are calling it a winter storm watch, they say a sprinkle of snow but nothing to worry about. More horrible rain and wind........although my car does have a dusting of snow/ice on it now. I guess I should hit the remote start to get it warmed up. I have already hit the shower and I need to dry my hair. Since I was off on Tuesday I need to go in today. But I am going to try really hard to get out at 2:00. Katie has a riding lesson today at 4:00. It has been 3 weeks since she has ridden. School schedule is a bit messed up today. The middle school is having state math tests this week and today the 7th grades

HI, all...stupidly went out in this weather today and I don't know if it is freezing rain or sleet or whatever, but it stings and is slippery. I didn't have to go out and I did anyway. One good thing, the roads weren't crowded and neither were the stores. DH needed new pillows and I decided to be a good wife and get them to go along with the clean sheets that will be going back on the bed shortly. Don't know about you, but I tend to lose track of how old pillows are and I hear they can get pretty nasty.

Ok...too much information.

No workout today just being lazy again, but I did do 2 hours last night. Not many people showed up for the classes because the "I have to go out and shop before the storm" panic was happening. Are people that bad with keeping the cupboard supplied? I think I live a month on the food I have here in the pantry. Now you know where to come if there is ever a food shortage. Even have canned and powdered milk and water.

No words of wisdom here since things are going about the same. Hope you all have a nice weekend.

Hope you don't get sick Deb...just think positively and you won't. I really think all that exercise keeps you healthy. I haven't really gotten sick in years with normal stuff like colds or flu (forget the other cr*p) and being fit means you heal a lot faster too.

Your lunch sounds so yummy...go for it! Hey, how many times do you get to eat that kind of stuff? If you order something you don't really want, it won't be satisfying and then you eat something else to make up for it later on. Been there done that too often.

You just might have a sensitive nose. Have you noticed that things that have no scent or fragrance free still have a smell?

Have a good one....

Hope your headache disappears and you are safe on the roads today. Maybe the weather is causing you not to feel good.

Love the poem. Is there a man anywhere that "gets it"?

Feel better.
