We're continuing to have some miserable weather in this neck of the woods. Sleet and freezing rain coming down. Like little pieces of gravel pelting down. Otto isn't liking it too much. He had to go out and when he came back in he came running back in and wasn't about to wait to be dried off.
It's been pretty much a miserable day of eating as well. See it and eat it diet!
Work day ended early. They decided to close down early and give everyone a chance to get home. Spent most of my extra time being lazy. But it is a lazy kind of day.
Nothing much else going on around here. Just sitting around borrowing DD's laptop and watching Friday night TV.
How did my day go..................long, long, long. At least it felt like it did. I was only about 5 minutes late this morning but I had trouble getting Rob out on time. Katie took a shower, was getting dressed and was going to call her daddy to drive her. I believe they were ontime. Work was busy and crazy, had another secretary p*ss me off. Those who know me I do not take well to that........so Monday she is going to get an earful. Considering I spent my entire morning typing documents to fed-ex out because her client is in such a hurry to close and get in this house. Her office better not have jumped the gun here since my client is not flying in from Texas on short notice. Brought my lunch in with me and worked through the lunch hour. Ran out of there at 3:10 and caught Katie walking home in the sleet and snow. What can I say, I tried to be on time. Her horse lesson was canceled because of this weather so I rescheduled a lesson for tomorrow at 1:00. Just hope the weather clears
I posted a long, detailed post yesterday and lost it. To make a long story short, I'm thrilled to report that Dad is doing a lot better. That 500 cc fluid boost and coming out on the other side of the GI bug has made a noticeable difference. He was able to stay awake and to recognize us and talk. He's still very frail and gets confused, but at least we know he's not terminal. It was the first time I broke down and cried during all this. I was talking to the dr. about it and just lost it. I put my head down on Dad's shoulder and hugged him and told him how much I love him, how
