I ran out of time this morning and I am just sitting down again now. So I figured I would post my day and my plans for the evening. Anyone else care to join me? So what did you do today?

Notice the green theme today.........lol. Normally green is not my color. Fought that every year, would go to school on St. Patricks day and everyone would say "why aren't you wearing green?" My response, I hate green and its my birthday! Now I like green better, lol. So today was a lazy morning with breakfast in bed. I got up and showered, did a batch of laundry and made my bed. From there we headed to the barn and Katie rode. Got home and found a card from my inlaws with some "green stuff" inside. My parents stopped by and we had coffee/tea together with another card and "green stuff". Like I said I am starting to like green. I shoveled the driveway with Rob this afternoon and got rid of the snow and ice so it won't refreeze and send me slipping and sliding. Bill is at the shop fogging out the motors of the race cars since they got the official word no racing tomorrow, track is closed. Actually the boys should be home soon so I am going to reshower and get dressed in my nice jeans and sweater for tonights dinner. Maybe a glass of wine for me with my dinner! I can throw the WW points out tonight, right? Well I sure hope everyone had a nice day today, stayed dry and warm. Hope you were all productive too. Rhonda so glad to read you dad was feeling better yesterday. Hope that is a sign of better things to come. Thanks again to everyone for the birthday wishes and the cards, they mean the world to me!

Sounds like you had a perfectly "green stuff" day... Enjoy the rest of it... :)

I had a good day.. It's really nice here.. 37 degrees.. Did a bit of cleaning.. not as much as I would have liked but the house looks much better.

I just want to say housework stinks! I like the finished result but getting there is another story! 5 loads of laundry, last one twirling away, dusting, vaccuming, sorting mail, tossing mail, cleaning bathrooms-although I draw the line at even trying to get the sparkle in the glass shower doors that is so up to DH! Made a dinner that just went so wrong. Beef minestrone in the crock pot-the meat always comes out so tender, not sure what happened to this. I thought I had a nice oatmeal bread cooking in the bread machine until I went to get it out and found a big pile of baked crumbs...apparently someone either didn't have their glasses on or just was having trouble with the written word because I left the liquid out. Oh well...I may be invading the refrigerator looking for something to eat later.

DH was out almost all day shoveling and chopping the ice. The sun did come out for a bit so it was easier to move the stuff but besides our property he helps the elderly woman next door who has a corner piece of property and apparently the ice built up pretty high by her back door. Huge puddles formed by the curbs with really no where for it go so the cars got moved to the other side of the street so we're not stuck on a sheet of ice in the morning.

I still have to get a grocery list together for tomorrow's trip to the grocery store which means I need to figure out what the menus will be. Not sure my brain can handle the decisions.

CL-Deb enjoy your dinner out with the family and by all means enjoy a glass of wine-it is your birthday!

Rhonda-I was so glad to hear that your Dad is doing better and is in the rehab facility. Hope things continue to go well.

Nancy-hope you enjoyed your spur of the moment day out! Sounds like a lot more fun than ironing!

Ladies, I hope you've all enjoyed your Saturday and are enjoying a pleasant evening. Hope everyone enjoys a good night's rest and pleasant dreams.
