Good Morning,

I've been out and about this morning. I had to finish up my grocery list this morning and then off to Stop & Shop. I just got in a few minutes ago and still putting the groceries away. I have the remainder of yesterday's laundry sitting on top of the dryer, the beginning of today's in the dryer and at least one more load today since it contains a good portion of my go to work clothes.

In a few minutes I'm going to head for my weekly manicure and not sure what the afternoon holds. I could put the TV on and set up my ironing board. I keep wearing things that don't require ironing and keep procrastinating on the stuff that needs to be ironed or I could get the paper trail sorted out on top of my desk or I could just sit and read. May try a combo of both. I would love to get Otto out for a walk but so many sidewalks are still ice covered and still plenty of icy spots on the street. I guess I'll wait until later in the day and see if it warms up a bit.

Planning a shrimp and fettucini dinner with feta cheese this evening and some sugar snap peas on the side. Hope it turns out better than last night's disaster!

That's about it from this neck of the woods. Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!

Susan,, I hate ironing so hope you get a good system worked out... I have very little ironing, however I don't need to iron work clothes too much.. just a couple of blouses and capris... nothing in

I've been up since before 8 thinking about what I want to do (almost anything) vs what I need to do (taxes!). Since the weather doesn't look like it knows what it wants to do, I think I'm staying home to

Good morning, rather good afternoon. Had a wonderful dinner last night with Bill and the kids. Got to open more cards and gifts.......Bill gave me the hook up and a year subscription the Sirus radio. That will go into the Explorer once he finishes that. Katie and Bill bought me some Bath & Body Works lotions, shower gels and manicure kit. Billy bought me a gift card to Kohl's, Rob bought me a Snow Baby figurine. Dinner was yummy, wine was great and the canolis just put my stomach over the edge. I had a lousy night sleep, my stomach was mad at me! Felt better this morning and slept until 9:30. I decided to just place my Peapod order that will be delivered sometime tomorrow eveing between 5:30 and 9:00. Today I am going to wing dinner, maybe a roast beef w/potatoes. I can stop and buy one quickly and they do not take long to cook and it should be mild on the tummy. Weather is chilly but clear. I think Rob, Katie and I are going to take a ride out east and see Daniel for a little while. No riding today, way to icy, but a quick visit. I was going to do my exercise tape but the rest of the morning got away from me so I just showered and I am going to dry my hair. I guess I can throw my tape on while the meat is cooking later and just lock myself upstairs for an hour. By then I am going to want to throw my sweat pants on anyway. That is the extent of my excitement for the day. Hope everyone else has fun!

I've been enjoying some nice surprises the last few days.

Last two nights I've had crazy dreams, so crazy I wondered if I ingested some kind of psychedelic drug from the 60s.

I was awake really early today and went to early Mass. I really wanted to sleep in a little since I have a fairly busy week ahead which includes getting up to get to the early classes at the gym. Sometimes I think of it as a job since I HAVE to exercise for my health. I want to take a spin class as one of the classes for a change of pace. I get bored so easily and then exercise becomes a drudge.

Nothing much planned except DD and her DH want to treat us to barbeque. I can't eat it because it just doesn't sit right in my tummy as well as, I just shouldn't eat it. Between the sodium and fat, it is a big no no for my heart health. Don't get me wrong, I do treat myself but I would rather do it on something else. So a big salad for me. We took a trip to K mart...only one around here still open...because DH likes their Route 66 jeans as work pants. They were even on sale...$10.99 a pair...so he bought 5 since you couldn't beat that with a stick. Glad he stocked up. It isn't easy finding his size.

Did lots of cooking again for the week...made lots of different veggies, meatballs and taco meat with 93% lean ground beef, fruit salad. The fridge is so full I have to use the garage for some of the food. When will I remember we are only 2 people here?

Boy, my life is boring!

Glad you had a wonderful time in town yesterday NANCY. Hope you get out of that meeting today. That 3 hour ride would discourage me!

DONNA...I hope the tax chore goes smoothly and quickly. I am glad DH handles it...I make believe I don't understand the stock stuff. Works beautifully.

SUSAN...blah on ironing and no iron clothes sound good to me. Sorry last night's dinner was a disaster...toniht's sound delicious. You are so good with trying new recipes.

DONNA L...great job with the walks and good for you for sleeping in 2 days in a row. Sometimes our bodies just need the extra rest and it important to get it when you can.

See you all tomorrow and enjoy the rest of the day.

Keep on keeping on!
