Wednesday whine down!
| Wed, 03-28-2007 - 9:23pm |
It is after nine pm here on the east coast to me that means time to wind down the day.........or in my case whine down the day. How was your day? Were you busy, was it productive? Were you dedicated to "you" or were so busy helping those around you? Is spring offically here where you live or is snow still in your near future? Please share with us what you did and how you are feeling.

I really can not whine today because today was much, much better then Monday and Tuesday. Homefront is quiet for the moment but the trouble/arguements are far from over. Yesterday I decided to face the music and went to my WW meeting despite not sticking with the program and to my surprise I lost 1.6 pounds. So that was encouraging. Yesterday my husband Bill also took delivery of his new 2008 F450 Superduty Ford Daulie Pickup. First one in town and he is so excited. He originally ordered a 2007 but unfortunately Ford stopped making them early to get ready for the new 08's. I have attached a picture or two. Yesterday our weather was beautiful.......so beautiful that we had helicopter hovering over our town yesterday. Seems a few blocks from my home there was a home invasion and they tied the lady of the house up and robbed her/it. She was safe and unhurt

Day is most definitely not dedicated to me while working! Lots of craziness in the office...crazy clients equally crazy attorneys although most of the them were at the other end of the phone, crazy coworkers just a crazy kind of day. The day just wore me and my nerves out.
Thought DH had a get out the door night but apparently I read the calendar incorrectly. Very glad that it was a super easy put together dinner and have to say those tacos tasted mighty fine!
Otto and I enjoyed our after dinner walk although much cooler evening than last night and it was windy too. Otto met up with a whole group of his favorite canine friends. They were all on the other side of the street and when he saw them he stopped and is looking at me like are you going to let me cross the street to see my friends and give them a good sniffing! Cookie lady was there with her last biscuit so Otto got to share with his friend. Although Otto was looking to see if he dropped any scraps. He was a bit distressed when we parted and we were going in the opposite direction. He loves to bring up the rear of the parade of dogs!
I had thought about heading to the laundry room and tackling some of the mountain of laundry but it's been sitting there so long one more day of wrinkles isn't really going to matter. Instead I sat in my chair and read a bit, watched a bit of TV, sorted through the stacks of mail and junk mail, searched high and low for the car insurance bill which I eventually found and also found my missing receipt for the tax man.
It is time for me to go to bed. My workout clothes sit in the same spot they've been in for the past 3 days. I just can't seem to get up with that alarm and some mornings don't even hear it. Just have to wait and see what happens in the AM.
Night all and pleasant dreams to all!

Nice truck! Love the color and the fact that it's a Ford! Happy driving to Bill!
Scary thing with the home invasion. Seems to be a growing trend on LI. Glad to hear that the woman was unharmed.
Congratulations on that weight loss!

It was not a day of craziness for me but a wonderful day of getting things caught up here at home.

Wow, that is one big truck! My Rob would love it. The color is pretty (macho?) too.
Congratulations on your weight loss!! That is great. Keep up the good work with your eating and workouts.
Sure hope the epidurals help your MIL. My BIL in MD had to go through those, but they did help some.
Very scary about the home invasion. I can't remember leaving windows open and the door unlocked since I was a child!!

I had the best day I've had in quite a while (not counting time with Jackson). When I decided to weigh myself late this morning, I had dropped 2 lbs. since yesterday! Yesterday I had lost 1 lb. Not sure what's going on here unless it's the more sensible eating, the Zumba class, and swimming everyday. Whatever it is, I'll take it! My total is up to 11 lbs., but I can't see a lot of difference except that my pants aren't as tight. I'd like to lose about 20 more, then have everything lifted and tightened!
I spent the morning and early afternoon running more errands. Got 5 tiny dwarf azaleas to add to a flower bed and got 6 good size loropetalum shrubs. Had to look several places to find the 1 gal. size instead of 3 gal. (too pricey). Got a large clock/weather station to mount on the back of the house, so we can see what time it is when we're in the pool. I lose all track of time when I'm in the water. I'll

Yesterday was suppose to be cloudy and cool. It was sunny and 70, beautiful. I worked in CL, ran a few errands, got a run in
