Good Morning,

A beautiful sunny day here on LI! I actually slept until 7AM-you have to realize that it is really late for me :)! The only reason I woke up was the fact that Otto was scratching on the bedroom door to get out. I looked out the window and the sun was coming out so there was my incentive to get some clothes on, sneakers laced up, ipod in hand and out the door for a great morning walk. It's been a while since I've had a Saturday morning walk and it felt great. So many signs of spring out there! My lilac bush has some green on it and other trees are showing signs of coming back to life. I really do love this season!

I'm hoping that the coming of spring will lighten DH's mood up a bit. He enjoys planning his garden and we were discussing plans on how to improve how the backyard looks. Can't do much about cleaning up the grass area. Otto has pretty much taken and over the yard and aside from ripping everything up and starting over again not much to be done in that regard and not going to undertake that. But there are some other improvements to be made-including the stack of Mustang tires-anyone interested :)? It's just not a very inviting area at the moment and really does need some sprucing up. Another area that needs a decluttering!

I actually would like to work a bit outside but the house is really calling out an SOS. DD being here last weekend left me without doing anything around here and it needs some help! We'll see how much I get done inside this morning and maybe spend some time outside this afternoon. I think rain is in the forecast for tomorrow so it would be nice to spend some time outside. Sometimes I think there needs to be two of me! Otto and I will have to get out for our afternoon walk.

Poking around in the freezer this morning looking for something for dinner. Probably will just be DH and I so I took some salmon out of the freezer. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it but looks like that's the menu. I'm slowing trying to weed out the freezer. I keep buying and not seeing what's in there. Something else to declutter!

Well if I intend to get anything done today I better get a move on. Hope everyone enjoys a spectacular Saturday.

Good morning..

I did not sleep well last night.. Have been puttering around on the computer and house trying to decide what to do today.. It's raining and blah.. My ear is totally plugged and the other one isn't much better..what to do what to do.. The new mattress is taking an adjustment.. I had no idea it would be that much higher than the old one.. Do you guys have high mattresses?

HI, Susan...I had to chuckle about decluttering the freezer. Would you believe I have 3 freezers full of food and on of them is freestanding one. The refrigerators aren't much better. The sad part is that it is only DH and I most of the time here. I really think I have a disorder called...over shopping and overstocking up on food. Is there a self help group for that? Well...you all know where to come if I there is ever a shortage of food.

Glad you got some extra rest today.
