Hi gang and happy tuesday to you all.
Lori
Woke up with Bill this morning as I promised I would. Made the bed already, had a scrambled egg with my tea and I have had my shower. So I am off and running on a good start but........guess who showed up this morning? Aunt Flo arrived and I am not sure if she is on time or not. I think she decided to come early, lets hope she leaves early too. I have a tummy ache and well I had one last night too now I know why. I should run back to the drug store and pick up some Midol, it usually helps. Not sure if I feel like doing the WW meeting today, I will play that by ear. Patty, funny you should write "I have definitely reached an age where I make my

Good Morning,
Your sock quote made me chuckle. I'm always in my flip flops around the house and DH is always asking me if my feet are cold and maybe I should put on a pair of socks. I always tell him that I really enjoy wearing my flip flops and my feet are just fine!
It is a dark, gray and gloomy morning once again. The sun never really made an appearance yesterday and once again they said the sun will come out today but they didn't sound overly convincing. Then rain is headed our way for tomorrow and looks some very cool weather headed back our way.
Not much going on around here. Schools are closed in our area so DD is home from work this week. I think she's headed into NYC with her gf's for a massage and dinner. Everyone else has left the homestead for their respective days of employment.
The Today show had a view from the Tidal basin in Washington DC of the cherry blossoms. Brought back great memories from the DC trip last year!
I actually listened to the alarm this morning and got in an excellent walk/run on the treadmill. Hopefully Otto and I will head out for a walk after dinner-weather permitting.
Lori-sounds like you had a nice weekend inspite of the "mouths". Good for you for putting the mouth in her place. Sorry about the headache and hope it's gone for good.
Nancy-sorry to hear that you're still not feeling well. These nasty bugs seem to like to hang on.
Karen-have you had time to breathe yet? Good luck with the inlaws!
Time to face the fact that I have to finish getting ready for the workday ahead. Hope everyone has a terrific Tuesday!
Susan
No socks for me today, Patty-cakes!
I have been away from my morning computer time for 4 days and during that time, the trees outside my window are no longer bare...they are COVERED in green and yellow!
Boy, all that partying really takes a toll, doesn't it? ;-) Sure hope your headache is gone soon.
I'm glad you spoke up on behalf of the woman who'd lost the weight. Envy is a green-eyed monster, and it's good to nip it in the bud.
Hugs,

Thanks Patty and Sassy! I think OU looked as though they had no business being there, because the Gators are just that good, but that's just me... ;-) The OU player who said they were

Stop and take several deep breaths (and maybe a few sips of wine!). :-)
My peep is peeping at your peep.

HI! I had to laugh because today is definitely a sock day since my feet are so cold. I am still in the socks I put on before I went out to teach the hi/lo aerobic class. I am so anal with my socks too. I have special socks for each kind of shoe/workout shoe. Today I had to wear my short white nike socks to go with my all white studio shoes to go with my gray pants. Ok...I am out of control. But, it is ok, because I am a big girl and I can do that if I want to. I like looking nice when I teach and not like something the cat dragged in. Don't ask about the special 5 drawer wicker "thingy" I have for all my socks that I bought at Pier 1. My socks would not fit in my dresser! (Words escape me sometimes and that is why I put "thingy".)
I am determined to push the vacuum around today. The house is still a little upside down from granddaughter but it is ok about that too. What better reason to clean than to know it is because your grandchild was here?
Making arrangements to go to the shiva tomorrow. Hard to coordinate two other people with small kids, naps, etc. I think I am supposed to bring food so I will go the local Kosher place to see what I can pick up. I would love to bring a pot of home made chicken soup but I don't know if they keep a kosher house or not. With it being Passover too, some people have special dishes, pots, silverware, etc to use only then. I don't know all the traditions even though I have worked many seder meals so I have to think this one through.
LORI...that is great that you had a nice time this weekend. So sorry about your migraine but you might be right that the fatigue triggered it. Hope you are doing better now. Don't work too hard.
DEB...sure hope AF leaves very quickly. Good for you for going back to WW. I really have to do it too!! Just can't stay focused with the food. All I can say is Amen to all we do for our families and it is just expected. Sigh....
SUSAN...really hoping the sun does come out today since it is supposed to rain tomorrow. Blah! It is afternoon and still no sign of it. Good luck getting your walk in with your ever faithful pal. Too bad you couldn't head to the city with DD too. It would be like a mini vacation.
SASSY...glad you had a nice weekend but sorry about the digestive upset. I am sure you will be better once you get back on program and eating the foods that agree with you. Stay up but not on the scale.
KAREN...try not to stess over the impending visit. You know, if they don't like the way you keep the house, they don't have to come. Keep thinking you are old enough to wear socks or not, and you can decide how to keep your house. I bet it is just fine at all times too! I do hope the visit flies by and you will be back to normal soon.
RHONDA...I am laughing to myself because I was wondering how many cartwheels I can still do and then thought about taking ibuprophen first too for my hip. I love the image of you dancing tonight. I hope you get to go to the class. Sounds like fun. Tried to do mambos in the cool down in the class I taught today and the class was lost. Sigh....by the time they get used to me, the month will be over and the regular instructor will be back. Glad your Dad is eating and enjoying it. Always a good sign.
OK...the vacuuming will not get done at this rate. Just have to finish putting some puzzles back together. I wouldn't let DH clean up because he would have thrown all the pieces in the bin and everything would have been all mixed up. Hmmm...is that a sock organizing thing running over into other stuff? I think I need to mold some chocolate today for easter too. It is going to be hard not to taste as I go along.
Oh, my...
Hugs all...
Grace
Keep on keeping on!
