Well today was another busy one for me. I placed my grocery order with Peapod on Friday morning and I selected the time frame for delivery between 7:30 and 1:30. So I set my alarm clock for 7:30 to check out the computer for their approx time. OK the computer said between 11 and 1. That works so I drank a glass of water, took two Motrins (I woke up with a head ache) and then went back to bed. Dog woke me up 20 minutes later, he had to go out. He is to old to shoosh away so I got up again, let him out, waited........waited........waited and then went back to bed. Got up around 10:00, had a quiet cup of tea/coffee with Bill and then the kids got up. For some reason everyone wanted Eggo Waffles for breakfast, lol. Cleaned that mess up then headed outside with Katie. She has been working on a school science enviromental project since October and decided to collect the beer/soda cans/bottle with deposits. We returned more (like our 10th trip since this project began) to get the money. She is donating the money she makes to a save a horse foundation down in Wellington, Florida. She also adopted the empty lot next to our house and the doctors office. Its a buffer zone between the commercial lot and residental. It actually owned by the doctors office but they do nothing to maintain it. Our town has a program where someone can adopt a section of road, empty lot..... for two years and they put a sign up that says, well I will attach a picture. Anyhow, after we finished up the lot Katie took a ride with Bill to the barn to see the horse and I ran to the fish store and bought some new fishies. Oh Peapod got here around noon and Katie helped me put away all that stuff. We then decided to go for an early fish dinner, Bill, Katie and I. The day actually flew by, between the yard clean up, the groceries to be put away, the rest of my normal house cleaning and then dinner the day is over. I treated myself to a nice hot bubble bath and I am headed upstairs with a new book. Hope you all had a great Saturday.
Nancy,,, Loved how you got to go out for lunch and dinnner... isn't it nice whey you don't have to cook.. Cleaning up pine needles is a big job... I'm glad we don't have many...
