Good morning everyone. Thinking of all the runners today as they take on the Boston marathon in very difficult weather conditions. Anyone see where a female astronaut will be running the marathon in space?

I had a quick minute to e-mail Patty a bit ago, then I came to read the posts today.

Phyllis! So great to hear you're home safely! My internet connection has been out, so I just saw your post.

How long will you be home? I hope you get to do lots of fun things while you're there.

Rob's best friend, who turned 18 yesterday, will be leaving for Marine boot camp in Paris Island, SC, right after graduation. I'm scared stiff for him and will be keeping him in my prayers daily, as I have you. :-)

Patty, I thought of you and Ryan immediately, but remembered he's home now, thankfully!! Still, the idea that he was there and could have been there, in his old dorm even, is enough to stop your heart!

Sassy, I'm glad your nephew and the girl from your church are both safe. I can't begin to imagine what the parents of those students are going through. You send your child away thinking they're getting better prepared for life, only to have it ended senselessly. I'm very upset that the university took so long to get the word out to the students about the initial shootings. Perhaps the later ones could have been avoided. They may be faced with a bunch of lawsuits from grief-stricken parents. I read it was hours later before an email went out.

My heart really goes out to all involved.

When I saw that on TV I wondered if that might be where Ryan was going to school.
