I like that thought, Patty!
"Make Choices that bring you joy" cl-Patty
Good Morning,
No, Otto always returns me to the homestead although I really feel like I need to be somewhere to give my brain a much needed rest and see if I can get myself back together. Plagued by a headache most of the weekend, mistakes by me and general atmosphere at work stinks, totally overwhelmed by unfinished projects and things that should be done around here, DH's continual rounds of mood swings that keep me guessing, a few financial issues that need to be worked through and generally a brain that doesn't seem to want to work like it used to. It's been a rough couple of days. One day at a time and trying not to focus on what I can and can't control. Desperately seeking Susan...because whatever personality has taken over the past few days needs to get out! So if you find me-please return me! I'm wondering if part of this is hormonal-do you still have PMS like symptoms even after the "big change"? 'Cause that's what this feels like and I've been waking up sweating as well-do these things ever go away?
Trying to keep up with my workouts though and keeping healthy foods in the house. So far so good in that department. I used the bike and my weights yesterday and on the treadmill this morning. The headache is back but hoping it doesn't stick around.
DD called me on her way to work. Her BF's grandmother was taken to the hospital this morning. She's unresponsive and things don't look good for her right now. There was a christening on Sunday and DD said that she didn't look well at all and after the ministroke she had a few months back she went from a very active 84 year old to someone who had pretty much given up. Please keep Marie in your prayers.
Otto and I continue on our after dinner walks and it's been so nice walking after dinner with the beautiful weather we've been having. Otto has been limping again and I'm a bit concerned that the problem that happened last year in his rear leg is happening in the other leg. He had problems with that leg some time ago but I'm hoping he doesn't completely tear it as he did with the other one. I've been giving him medication and it's seems to help.
This seems to be a rather depressing post so think I'll end it here.
Rhonda-so glad your Dad is back in the nursing home. Very nice and thoughtful Welcome Back celebration! Love the new wheels-happy and safe driving!
Lori-congratulations on your new grandbaby! Loved your bellydancing video!
Karen-you've been on my mind as well. Hope all is well.
Grace-I know you weren't feeling well and hope you're feeling better.
Ok, time to get ready for the workplace and the workday ahead. I'll try my best to have a bodacious Tuesday!

Bodacious post Miss P!
Today you can
Patty, I'm thinking being more bodacious may describe the feelings I've had over the last several months. I'm tired of being predictable and safe. I want to shake things up a bit and "blossom" at last. I'm thinking I've been hiding my light under

Rhonda (shaking)...I've seen pictures.....you look great.
Hello, all! Taking a break between classes today and here I am. I don't like waiting around to teach again, but it is the last week of it. Thank Goodness! I will have to reinvent myself after I get home in May and see what workout schedule will work for me. AS far as being bodacious...my girls tell me I have bodacious boobies and well, my butt isn't too far behind...lol! I think I have enough bodaciousness for now. ;-)
Rhonda...so nice to hear your Dad is back in the nursing home where is comfortable. Now I know who to call when I want a welcome back party. How did you know chocolate is my favorite! Hope you got some better sleep too and you are not coming down with something. Enjoy your Rhumba class tonight. (What are these shoes you and Nancy are talking about?)
Nancy...glad you got the haircut you really wanted! It is so frustrating going to a place and paying a pretty penny and not getting what you want. I had to leave the place I used to go to and the owner/manager goes to one of the gyms I go to. Believe it or not, I have been getting the best haircuts at Head Cutters...I think they are chain like Lemon Tree. Just never know where someone will actually listen and do what you want.
Good job with all the exercise. And, I know what you mean about the eating. Why do I have to love to eat and cook?
DEB (jazzerdeb)...I know exactly what you mean about being ready to eat "clean" after being away and having too many choices and food around you don't normally eat. Sorry you are sore from your workout, but it hurts so good, doesn't it? So glad you are feeling better about your body too! WTG!!
Good luck Karen with your surgery! You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Lori...Congrats on being a grandma! It is just wonderful!
Shar...hope you get some relief with the PT. It has helped a lot of people I know.
Hugs to all...(OH and I am feeling better. It is definitely the medicine doing it and some days I can take it better than others. A talk with the doctor is definitely in order.)
Grace
Keep on keeping on!
