Margie so glad you had such a wonderful day in Texas. Sounds like you got lots done in that garden of yours. It is so rewarding to see the fine and hard work you are doing look so good. I do not think you give yourself enough credit. So many of your posts really hit home with me. I am still trying to figure things out around here and reworking me is something that is also being attempted. Thanks for the great words then help so much.

Jdeb, sounds like you had a nice day at home. When does Eric get home? Why did he head to CA again? What did his mother decide to do about her car situation? Your party from yesterday sounded great too.

Today was an iffy day. We had showers off and on throughout the morning. I was up pretty early with a bad tummy ache. I think the food from last night caught up to me. Katie's friend Meghan went home around 8:30 this morning because of cramps. Both girls were upset but it was better for her to go home and relax. The barn is not the kind of place to hang out when one feels like that. So on that note, Katie and I headed out to see Daniel around 10:00. We stopped for our bagels and bottle of water. We were lucky the rain stayed away and Katie rode him for about 35 minutes. We cleaned him up, cleaned his stall and put him back in turn out with his friends. We headed home around 1:00. When I got in I had trouble keeping my eyes open and dozed off on the couch for 30 minutes. Woke up, wrapped my MIL birthday gift, made some clam dip, took a shower then headed to Bill's aunts for dinner. Nice Sunday dinner to celebrate Bill's moms birthday. Home by 8:30, pj's are on, tea is almost finished, Bill is watching drag racing (duh) on TV, Katie is out like a light, Billy home tonight watching the Sapranos, and Rob is finishing up a detailing job at the shop. I think I will head upstairs in a minute so that I can get a jump start on the day tomorrow. Hope all is well with everyone and your days were great!

It's been a good day here. The weather wasn't so nice but that was ok. Early morning grocery shopping then off to for a mani/pedi. It something I do on a regular basis but today was like something that the doctor ordered. It was relaxing and refreshing not to mention my toes are looking particulary lovely-"Click it or ticket"-where do they come up with these names-sort of a orangy pink coral color with a little shimmer to it! Came home to a quiet house and got in some reading time curled up on the love seat by the front window-my favorite place to read. I made a new recipe this evening-Chicken Lasagna Florentine from a Cooking Light cookbook and roasted asparagus. Fortunately dinner was served just as the Ranger-Buffalo hockey game was between overtime periods! I was just sitting down to watch a movie and the phone rang and it was my gf. We have entirely different schedules and she lives out on the eastern end of LI so we don't get to visit or get to talk on a regular basis much but when we do we end up talking for hours-I guess that was the other part of the doctor's prescription. We've always seemed to have an esp for each other's times of trials and tribulations and it was so good to sit and laugh and talk. It was indeed theraputic. Never did watch the movie but this was so much better- GF phone therapy.

The hour is getting late and before I know it that alarm will be going off for the 5AM waking hour. So best better get everything ready for the morning!

Sweet dreams everyone!

I've had a very bizarre weekend and am not sure how to go about describing it or even how much I should. Let's just say I decided to take a brief mental health timeout and went to St. Augustine Beach
