At the risk of someone hitting post at the same time...what's on your Wednesday agenda?

Nothing much different on my Wednesday agenda...work. Alarm went off this morning and I promptly went right back to sleep. Probably just as well as I woke up with a bad headache so I'm not sure how productive I would have been down there in the dungeon. We had some pretty heavy rain last night along with some pretty intense lightning. We're supposed to dry out and perhaps some sunshine during the course of the day. Provided the rain goes away Otto and I will head out after dinner. He was so excited last night after sniffing around in someone's overgrown grass to come up with a wrapper. He proudly picked it up and hurried through the gate when we got home. There was nothing in it but he enjoyed licking away anyway.

DD and I had another discussion on why boys are stupid last night. Even after they're stupid and they almost understand they're stupid they don't stop just keep digging themselves a bit deeper! Men...the unsolved mystery of life!

Donna-really sorry to hear that the zoo is such a zoo. It can certainly wear away at you. I keep hoping that there are lottery numbers out there!

Patty-some big decisions for you concerning your work situation. It really is hard watching the kids leave the nest.

Karen-got any leftovers? Dinner sound dee-licious!

Cl-Deb-I'm a bed maker person too. DH thinks I'm nuts!

Well time to get moving to get that paying day underway! Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!

I guess Patty's day caught up to her, she had lots on her plate. We have rain this morning and I am not sure how the rest of the day will play out. Its a full day at the office although at lunch time I am going to head to the nail place and get my fill in done. So I will give them advance notice lunch might be more like 1 hour and 15 minutes. I got up just a little earlier, 6:10 and instead of putting my kettle on I put my sneakers and sweats and did my 2 mile walking tape. Bill and Katie left at 7:15 and I made Billy get up earlier (15 minutes) so he could get done ahead of schedule. I then made my breakfast (scrambed egg whites with sauteed mushrooms and canadian bacon), drank a glass of water, enjoyed my hot tea and fixed myself a salad for lunch with imitation crab. I will enjoy some pineapples for my mid morning snack and most likely some baby carrots for my afternoon snack. I bought some sugar free jello so I will throw one of those in my work bag too.

I just spoke to my MIL and she is heading to CA this afternoon for a visit with her daughter and her grandchildren. The youngest, Darin is making his Communion on Saturday. I sent her with a card, money and a gift to give him. Mom wanted me to know that she truly appreciates the fact that Bill and I have expressed best wishes for him and did not want us to expect anything in return. I told her I don't and what we feel for those kids has nothing to do with my SIL's ways. She then went on to say how she truly understands and respects our feelings and how they were and still are waranted. I guess as you can tell the holiday situation was never resolved even after her email to me. Bill made it strongly noted that he wants nothing to do with her and I do have to respect him on those wishes since it is his family but that does not mean I can not send things to the kids. He does agree with that. I also promised mom I would look after Dad........lol.

Time to dry my hair and get dressed. Yes my bed is already made and the washer/dryer are going strong. Have a wonderful day ladies. Patty we need to talk about co-workers. I have issues with our afternoon lady. Maybe tonight after work!

Reading about each of you inspires me to do more constructive things. I quit working this year (teaching 6th grade ss and 7th grade math) to have some time to myself and to be able to spend more time with my kids in the evenings and on weekends. I worked a lot outside of the school day grading papers, planning, etc. I was going to get my house really clean, but that hasn't happened. I still have boxes to clean out that came from my sewing room, which had gotten turned into a junk room. I was stressed to the point that if I knew how to have a nervous breakdown, I probably would have had one. lol I still have photo albums and scrapbooks to do. I'm only 10 years behind, and I'm the world's worst procrastinator.

Well, the MRI didn't go so great. It was a 4 part thing. Abdominal and pelvic, with and without contrast. We got through the ab. and only part of the pel without contrast. It was so uncomfortable. My back was killing me, but the tech said I couldn't move. My dr had given me a muscle relaxer to take an hour before hand, but it didn't do a thing. The tech said that if I moved he'd have to redo it and I could just come back later if I wanted to. He said to tell my dr to give me a pain killer to take. I can't lay on my back very long on my bed, but on a hard table it was murder. Luckily, he spoke to the radiologist while I was there and if I can come back soon, they can keep the part they did last night, so I don't have to get the entire thing redone.

Today: I plan on either taking a walk, or breaking out one of my pilate DVDs. I need to decide what to do about defensive driving. Yes, for a ticket. You'd think after living here 14 years I'd know speed limits. The road I got the ticket on goes from 30 to 40 to 35, but I always forget the order, and I never think about looking at the signs (I know, shame on me.) I may go grocery shopping. I hate shopping, but, hey, if I spend $10, I get a free package of tp. Gotta have that tp. Some weeks it's sugar, some rice, and some tp. I may start digging up grass where I want to start my little garden. Little is the key word. This afternoon, I get to go have my sunvisor fixed for the 3rd time. It won't stay up if I push it back. The passenger's side is fine. I don't know what's wrong with the driver's side. I have a 2005 CRV. I love the vehicle, but the sunvisor prob is really annoying.

Anyway, everyone have a great day.

It is definitely Wednesday ...

DD gets out of school at noon today, then she and a few friends are going to the mall for lunch and to the movies (not sure what they are seeing).
