I am lucky enough to be blessed with excessive sweating.

It was a glorious day of a little bit of everything. The skies became very gray and overcast as I headed out to the grocery store and wasn't much better when I finished the shopping. The wind was blowing but as the day wore on the skies became bright blue and just a few wispy clouds and although it didn't get as warm as yesterday it was still a great day to be outside.

I went for my manicure, came home for a quick lunch and then DD and I headed to our favorite little grocery store. We had some sausage and pinwheel steaks which were fantastic, a pasta salad with fresh mozzerella and basil and we bought a small box of chicken ravioli with a container of their homemade sauce and yes we bought dessert and a loaf of italian bread hot out of the oven. They do all their baking on premises and yes I ate way too much!

I did head out on my bike until my legs and bu** were telling me it was time to go home! Just have to be real careful around here since we have a stop sign at every corner and people often don't really stop at them. I came home and sat outside in my favorite chair and did some reading and then headed out with Otto for a walk. In between it all I did manage to get some laundry done so I don't think anyone will running around with nothing to wear! I pulled out my summer clothes and tried on a few things. I have one skirt that if I don't breathe it's fine but if I have to breathe and wear it-we'll just say that it will be a difficult task! I guess I should use the skirt as my inspiration to start shaping up that mid section! I still have to write some checks but that's about it for the day. All in all a very pleasant day!

I can only imagine how awkward that must have been for your DH! You guys have had so much happening all at once, it's like, "Stop the world, I want to get off!!!" Thank goodness Brock seems happy. I hope it works out well for everyone.

Hormones could very well be responsible for your curls. Mine started getting some curl this past year after being stick straight all my life, and after my surgery in Oct. the back actually gets very curly. The sides not so much. It would be a lot easier to deal with if the curl were uniform. I'm also having to adjust to it springing back wavy after I've straightened it due to the FL humidity.

Your new clothes sound fun. Glad you went with a brighter polish for your pedicure. It'll make you feel bolder. ;-)

I thought about you when I saw the new ad for Secret's super duper product and hoped it might work.

I think I'd give the Botox a try. An awful lot of people have used it without problems, and it does seems to dissipate and be "excreted", I guess, so it may be well worth doing it at least once. Actually, 6-7 months is a long time for it to work. I read where it works only about 3 months for cosmetic purposes.

I think it's becoming pretty mainstream for people who don't get results with anything else. Dermatologists and other types of drs. do things like that now, so you don't have to go to a plastic surgeon. I think some of the other specialists aren't quite as expensive. We even have some medical spa type places here where technicians do the work, but it's overseen by a medical dr. I'm sure those are all over the place too. I might be a little leery of using them instead of an actual dr. doing the work.

I had a good day. As I mentioned in an earlier post to J-Deb, Tim and I went to brunch at River City Brewing Company, and it was wonderful! I wouldn't mind another piece of that cheesecake with mixed berries on top, but I shouldn't have had the first one!

We came home and took a nap. When we got up, he headed back to the office and I did a few things around here. He's still at the office. We emailed back-and-forth a lot about getting certified birth certificates for ourselves to be able to get passports. All we have are copies of the certificates. It's a lot more expensive to get one from Washington, DC, than from PA. It cost more than twice as much, but I guess that's par for the course for our nation's capital. ;-)

I asked Tim if he thought we could rent an oceanfront condo for just a weekend (since I'd be lucky to get him away from the office that long) and see if Erin, Joe, and Jackson would like to join us. Rob's best friend's parents have one a few miles south from where we used to always go to the beach in St. Augustine, and they rent it out. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, so there'd be enough room to sleep us all. Rob could sleep on the sofa. Joe could bring his surfboard over. I'd like to do it in late July. Tim was all for it, so I left a message for Erin. Haven't heard back from her yet. It would be a ball to have Jackson at the beach for 2 days!!!

We finally got some rain this afternoon. The wind has picked up still. We've had a very windy spring, which is making it terribly hard for the firefighters dealing with fires around the state and in GA. Hope the rain helped them out some.

Nothing else happening here today. I'm eager to see if my letter to the editor in support of my city council candidate will actually be published tomorrow at the editor said.

Hope everyone is winding down and feeling fairly relaxed before the start of the week.
