Good morning everyone. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I had quotes about discipline and goals for this morning but none seemed quite right. I , myself, have no discipline

Good Morning,

Yes, I would definitely like to step back this morning. Reality has a cruel way of creeping up on me! Busy day Saturday and a don't do a thing day yesterday-well we'll just say I'm less than organized. I haven't been grocery shopping and meals aren't planned for the week like they usually are and I'm really feeling the out of routine syndrome! Not enough sleep Saturday night and not sleeping well last night didn't help. Otto felt the need for a midnight snack last night, out in the yard to dig something he buried out there for safekeeping-it's like waiting for the last kid to come through the door. I'm waiting and I'm waiting....!

Tried out my new Personal Training DVD this morning. It gives you a 6 day series of the different segments to work on according to the goal you want to achieve or you can program your own mix and match segments. It also has an audio opt out so that it only does the music portion. Something different to play with in the early morning hours!

Well I'd better attack my laundry room before I have to head off to work. The piles are growing and pretty soon the clean and dirty laundry are going to become on massive pile!

Hope everyone has a great start to the week!

Good morning, everyone --

We have a couple of really nice days ahead of the rain and return of cool temps later this week, but my sinuses have decided to get a head start on causing me discomfort.

Good morning everyone! I'll add my "me, too" to the list of people wanting to stay home in pj's with tea and the paper or a good book. I'd be out on my balcony, watching the birds and the lagoon. But alas, I'm at the office like the rest of us!

Running - a friend of mine told me about a website that has a "Couch to 5k" program. I'll see if I can find it and share it with you all. It's what I'll be using when my daughter starts our training for the marathon. I can't run more than a block at a time now, I'm sure.

....always thought they were cute in their baseball caps and skinny bodies....

Had to laugh when I read that. No skinny running body here but i do have a cute hat! There is a woman uptown who has an incredible body, not one ounce of fat on it. She power walks

Hi, Patty and all! I always envied all people who could run. I just can't seem to do it, and I hated any kind of running game even as a kid. I even tried to walk/run, but no good. It could have been my heart acting up, but who knows. I think I need more than a baseball cap to get me motivated. Now if you put on good tunes and just let me move to the music, that is a different story. Guess that is why I love teaching/taking group exercise classes so much.

No specific goals except to get back on track and stay there! Kind of blew it all on vacation and then Mother's Day weekend. I just wish my eating was as good as my exercising. I guess 1 out of 2 ain't bad...LOL! At least it is good, healthy food for the most part.

Nothing much going on here...hope you are all well. I am off in a few to see the doctor about the consult for a colonoscopy. What fun! Never thought I would be "old" and my life would revolve around doctor appointments.

Grace

Keep on keeping on!

Morning Ladies,

I woke feeling very rested this morning after our relaxing weekend but before I knew it I had a running list in my head of all the things I need to squeeze into the next couple of nights to "make-up" for the time I didn't do things this weekend.

I'm thrilled for you that your fitness and your marraige are going in such a positive direction! I can sure identify with a lot of the things you've been posting. Your necklace sounds gorgeous, and I'd love to see a picture of you in it! :-) Just fantastic that you and your DH were able to have a romantic weekend and to appreciate quality time together. That is one of the best gifts of all.

I told Tim the other day how amazed I am at the amount of time we spend thinking of each other throughout the day when we're apart and how much we email and talk on the phone. You might expect it if you're dating or a newly wed, but at long as we'd been together, I think it's kind of unusual. He said, yes, we're weird! LOL! If that's weird, I'll take it!

Keep up the great work! You're inspiring us.
