Good morning everyone. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I had quotes about discipline and goals for this morning but none seemed quite right. I , myself, have no discipline

I don't know why my board access has been so hot-and-cold, but it's really annoying. Please don't think I'm not reading posts or am not interested in what's going on. I won't even know if this post goes through until I hit post. I've tried rebooting numerous times and don't know if it's AOL or what. I do have to catch up on some of the posts I couldn't read when I didn't have access again.

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. Tim and Rob went to church with me, which was a lovely way to start. We rode to the beach and went through the most amazing model home for a new development. It is $1,600,000.00 (!!), but is not fancy. It's like a giant, totally decked out, wired for the future beach cottage. It was over 4,000 sq. ft. and over 6,000 sq. ft. with all the covered porches. The great room and master bedrooms had those disappearing glass walls, so the rooms could be opened and expanded to include the porches, which both had fireplaces. Wish I had pictures of each room to show.

By the time we toured that, it was time to meet Mom, Lisa, and Alexa at Bonefish Grill for lunch. I gave Mom her Talbot's gift certificate, which she was really pleased to receive. Had pistachio parmesan crusted grouper, island rice, julienned zuchini and squash in a fresh tomato sauce, freshly baked baked bread in the olive oil and pesto they mixed at our table, their awesome house salad with citrus vinegrette, and we got 2 incredible strawberry shortcakes and 1 creme brulee with 6 sppons to all share. We were so stuffed, but that was all I had all day except a bowl of Cherrios later last night.

We visited Dad afterward and fought food comas. Tim was dozing while we were there. We stayed about an hour, then came home to nap. I had a really long nap. Rob came me a sweet card, and Tim gave me the PERFECT card, which meant so much to me. The Explorer is my Mother's Day gift. It's become kind of a joke with us, because this is the second one I've gotten around Mother's Day. Unfortunatley, I've averaging 504 miles a week for the 3 weeks I've had it, so I've got to cut back. We had a wonderful romantic evening, so I feel pretty good today. :-)

I was out the door at 7 this morning and in place near the top of an overpass to wave my political sign. I stopped a little before 9. Came home and did some laundry and some minor things around here, then went to visit Dad and Mom at the nursing home. I think we'll get his lift chair ordered tomorrow FINALLY.
