Things were going along great today until DS and I went to pick up DD from school.

LOL ... just realized we are really posting our evening in reverse order ... Pacific, Mountian, Central Time Zones ... where are the Eastern Time Zone gals?

East Coast reporting in! We have a new addition to our family. Baby Emma was born at 10:59AM (the same time as her godmother!) 7 lbs 5 oz, 20 inches with brown hair and she is just beautiful-not that we're prejudiced or anything! Mom and Dad are on Cloud 9 and their oldest is thrilled with having a baby sister. The younger one is adjusting after being sure that he was going to have a baby brother named Max (the name being his choice!). DD and I went up after dinner to visit and Mom is doing well although a bit uncomfortable after the C section. I see a shopping trip for little girl things in the near future!
Work was another slow day. The luncheon was nice, different types of wraps, a big green salad and a teriyaki chicken salad that was absolutely amazing! And, of course, there was cake!
After a beautiful sunny start to the day it got very warm and quite humid and about 4PM it turned night time dark and then the rain started. We've also had some thunder and expecting that the temperature is going to cool down some.
Time now to retreat to my chair and then off to bed! Hope everyone's day has gone well. Sleep well everyone!

Jazzerdeb, I was thinking about Eric and his running this morning. I think it's wonderful that he gets it in inspite of such a full workload.
Today was good
