Rhonda is right...
This is the name of my post.
Rhonda--you mentioned something about the Botox being covered by insurance.
Forgot the dress I bought...It says linen and rayon and it seems a bit heavy but it looks really pretty on me..think it's too much for Hawaii?
I'm home.
Donna
Donna it does feel heavy.
I suppose if it feels too heavy to you, that's your answer. But it's really cute! Love the colors.
Obviously, I'm home on Friday night too. Took my youngest to see Shrek (mark me down for popcorn for dinner) and saw my older one as she went into the movies to see Spiderman with her friends (but, as according to the Rule of Adolescents, I made no eye contact and pretended like I didn't see her). I'll pick up her up later, but driving the Mom Taxi doesn't count as going out on Friday night, now does it? LOL

Thanks, J-Deb! I'm glad I could help. Seems you'd be the perfect candidate for the Botox treatment that should be covered by ins. I imagine the needle would be very fine and that they'd use some kind of topical anesthetic or something. Maybe they could tell you more about that.
Happy to hear you like the Zumba DVD's. I probably would have gotten 3 and 4, but didn't want to spend for 1 and 2. Actually, now I am kind of memorizing the routines we've done so far, so when I play the CD my instructor made for me, I find myself visualizing or sort of car dancing as I'm listening. :-) I hope you get to go to a good class. The energy of the group is what makes it so fun. There is a contest now where you can vote for your favorite fitness at a web site every day until June 20th. There's a Zumba video on it, but there may be a Jazzercise one too.

The color of the dress for your mom is one of my favorites -- very pretty. Also, like the shoes a lot. I was looking at some similar ones in a beige color.

The colors, print, and style are perfect for Hawaii. Reminds me of the colors and sort of the print of a shirt Mom brought me back from Hawaii when she went. Linen breathes, so it might work out fine, especially being sleeveless and having a low neck. I learned to get used to wrinkles when I used to wear a lot of linen to work. It's good for our climate.
I checked a web site tonight that said the average maximum temps. in Maui for May and June are 83 and 86. The minimum temps. for those months are 66 and 68.

Another busy day today. The rain last night helped clear the smoke. It was low 80's, sunny, with a nice breeze. I ran a few errands this morning and got Dad a piece of tiramisu as a treat for lunch before going to the nursing home today. He was at the dining room table and was happy to see me. I put chips out for everyone (They really like those.) and showed him his treat. He seemed only mildly interested. I noticed since he found out about OJ, his appetite has really dropped off. He ate maybe a third of his lunch and took a couple of bites of the tiramisu. At first he made an exaggerated face and said, ugggghhh, but I knew he was just pulling my leg. Still, he took only 2 bites and had me take it back to his room with us in case Mom wanted some when she got there.
Mom came about 1:20, so I was able to leave after 1 1/2 hours. Went to get gas at BJ's. It had been $2.95.9 on the way there, but by the time I stopped on the way back it was up to $2.98.9!! Still, it was the only place I saw under $3. all of a sudden. Went inside and picked up several things we needed, then went by Best Buy to get the new Linkin Park CD. So far, I'm not that impressed. Maybe I just need to listen more.
Once I got home, I started cleaning the kitchen and scrubbed the kitchen, breakfast room, one hall, and sunroom floors. That was a major improvement. Took a break to cool down and decided to go ahead and start getting ready for dinner tonight. Tim called and was going to be at the house about 20 minutes sooner than I expected, so I told him to just go ahead to Clark's, and Rob, Becca, and I would meet them there. The place was packed, so I was really glad we had reservations.
Everyone was already there when we arrived. I got to meet his brother's girl friend and his sister's son, who reminds me of Kenny Loggins in his younger days. My sister, Lisa, would have a fit if she saw him!! We got fried green tomatoes, fried dill pickles, cold steamed shrimp, hot and spicey steamed shrimp, and a wonderful creamy scallop, shrimp, and cheese dip to put on bruschetta. Those were just the appetizers! Tim's brother loves appetizers. I couldn't get grouper. I was told that as of the last 3 months it's been put on the endangered species list!! That really burst my bubble. Actually, I was full enough from the appetizers that I nibbled on the last of those and some hush puppies and didn't order dinner. I think we were there almost 3 hours. Becca was a big hit with the family. She is bright and funny and fit right in. Also, found out she loves shoes too! Need the thumbs up icon here.
