Good Morning,

Another beautiful day and temperatures are supposed to be a bit warmer today and tomorrow getting to 90! Not sure that I'm ready for that but I think I'll take that over Nancy's 36!

Overslept this morning so there was no workout for me. I guess I needed the extra sleep but I have to say I miss that extra boost a morning workout gives me. I was up in the night with Otto. By the time I heard him wanting to go out he had managed to bypass the hallway, kitchen and dining room (all with bare floors) to get to the living room and to my rug to vomit. I, of course, didn't know that last night but I sure did know it this morning. So I'll be looking for the doggie cleaner upper this morning.

Nancy-Happy Birthday to your DS! And good work on that run yesterday!

Karen-hope today is less stressful and you're feeling better today! I can share in your feelings of the overwhelmed. Hope today is a better day.

Patty-hope things go well with your Mom's doctor's appointment.

Grace-ouch on the toe!

J-Deb-great work on getting into those clothes!

Thankful for-

The beautiful weather of the past few days.

Nancy's beautiful post. She expressed so beautifully my exact thoughts about how much I love being part of this board.

Margie and sharing in her journey. You truly are an inspiration!

A good doctor's report.

The upcoming 3 day weekend.

Well I guess I need to figure out what's on for dinner tonight. I'm not sure I have what I need to make what I had planned and I don't want to go to the grocery store so I need to search the pantry or make an alternate plan!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning! I'm hoping this will post.

I've been on the run a lot with Tim's brother and his girl friend here from CA and Rob's graduation last Monday. We have eaten so much that I feel I could use a good detox! The relatives left yesterday, and I hate to say it, but we're relieved to get back to some semblance of normalcy. We did have a lot of fun and laughed a lot. Erin came for Rob's graduation, so it was good to get to see her.

Rob and I visited Dad a while yesterday and had lunch with him, since Mom couldn't be there and won't be there today. I'm leaving later this morning to visit him again before I have to pick Mom up and take her for a colonoscopy.

Took Rob yesterday to have a cool air intake, brush guard, and train horn (don't ask!) on his truck. After he brought it home, he had to pack to leave with his friend's family for NC for a week. Their Jacuzzi is supposed to be installed there today, and the dad said he wanted to see the crane lift it in place!!! That must be an expensive installation. Meanwhile, I have Rob's 3 uromastyx and Brandon's 2 to take care of while they're gone. Yuck!

Tim closed 2 very important deals day-before-yesterday that take some of the stress off him. I saw a large button you press when I was at Hallmark that says "Whoomp" on it. When you press it, it plays part of the song "Whoomp, there it is!" I got it for him to use every time there's another success at work. He had great fun with it at the executive staff meeting Wednesday.

Sad to say my Zumba teacher injured her leg in kick boxing. She'd injured it 12 years ago when she used to compete in fitness competitions, and I think her grueling schedule may have been too much for it. So...she will not be teaching the 2 classes I pay for on Monday and Wednesday nights. She was so sweet about it though, and said because she knew I signed up only because she was teaching, she talked to the owner and he will refund the balance of my money. Guess I'll have to check out some of the other instructors at the Y if I want to take more than twice a week.

Thankfuls:

1. Rob graduated!

2. Tim's success with the 2 large deals

3. Tim's company breaking $200,000.00 brokered in one day! The old record was around $175,000.00.

4. All of you wonderful women

5. Successes of varying kinds in all of our lives.

6. Zumba

7. Emails from several board members. :-)

Better get going, so I can spend some time with Dad before I have to pick up Mom. Hope you all have a wonderful day and that I can get back on board regularly. I'm going to give BellSouth internet service a trial run, but still get to keep my AOL email address.

<<Nancy, what a wonderful post. I want to come back later and respond to it more but just wanted to say thanks for the great thoughts in it.>>

I agree, I'm going to print and save!

In between doing this and that and just wanted to check the board. Ok, is anyone else reading Margie's and Rhonda's posts and just wanting to reinvent themselves??? Those two seem to be having fun trying new things and learning new things about themselves.
