1) I am so thankful that I have taken action to get myself to a healthier weight.
2) thankful that the south Beach diet was written - it seems like the perfect fit for me! (Remember, I'm all about bread, cheese and wine!! :)
3) thankful to be healing from my skating accident (in Feb, fell playing hockey on the ice and crumbled my wrist. Had two surgeries, and like Humpty Dumpty, they put me all back together again! tee hee..) so I can once again exercise (Yay!!!)
4) And thankful for finding this board and being surrounded by such positive, supportive women!
Everyday I am feeling more confident that I can actually accomplish my goal (lose 40lbs this year) and it is not a pipe dream. Yay! So MANY years I have 'wished' to be trim, but it's taken this long to realize that wishing doesn't work.
Has the texture of your hair changed or gone from straight to curly or curly to straight since your surgery. The change in mind is driving me crazy. If it had all turned curly it wouldn't be so bad, but the back is very curly and the sides are only midly curly in some spots and straight in others! Arrrgh!

So glad to hear you're feeling better.

I bet you could do the 5-mile race. As Rob Schneider's character in "The Water Boy" would say, "You can do eet!!"
