OK, so how did everyone's day go? Any more profound thoughts to share. Nancy got us started with some really good ones this morning.

I missed Zumba tonight and Thursday night classes are my favorite. Sure hated to miss it, but after visiting Dad, picking up Mom, sitting at the hospital for hours, running to the grocery store for Mom, taking her home, fighting rush hour traffic with a headache, running to Walgreen's to have some prints made from a disc, and then to the grocery store for us, I was just too tired. I hope to make it to the morning class tomorrow and take our instructor a magnet with far infrared fabric to use on her injured leg. She wants to try it. Think I'll run that by him in an email now.

I ate better today, but no exercise. Need to get back into swimming daily again. I sent my Zumba instructor an email asking if she can recommend any of the other ones up there for the days she doesn't teach. Two classes just aren't enough for me to see results at my age.

Who's next?

Thankfully, another one for today, Mom's colonoscopy went well. They removed two teensy polyps, but she's in good shape other than that. She was very worried, but wouldn't let Dad know, because he was already very worried about her. I called him, my niece in MD, and my sister who's on a trip to NYC to let them know the news. Dad had me put his brother on to tell him, because he wouldn't remember what I told him. It's so sad that his cognitive skills are fading so. I was happy his brother was with him at lunch today, since I could stay only half an hour. He said he'd be there through dinner, which would be about 8 hours today. We can always count on him.

Tim has tons of work and probably won't be home till 10:30 or 11:00. Rob's in NC, so here I am with all the animals. I guess I could address the envelopes on the thank-you notes he's written for graduation. I have some pictures to mail to family members too. I have a feeling he'll be working on Memorial Day. Since Rob will be gone, I'm tempted to just get a room at the beach for the weekend, and if Tim wants to join me in the evenings, fine. If not, then at least I'll be somewhere fun.

Sorry, absolutely no profound thoughts from me just a tired me with a very tired brain. Work was just one of those days but thankfully I got through it and looks like the office will be closing early tomorrow.

Otto and I went for a stroll after dinner. And it was definitely a stroll. At one point I think I was standing there for 5 minutes waiting for him to make up his mind which way to go. Trying to get him to move when he doesn't want to is definitely a challenge!

DH wanted to go over to the garden center and pick up his vegetables and some flowers. I've been a bit nauseous since after dinner but I went along to pick out the flowers. At one point he was wandering aimlessly looking for some vegetable. I did suggest he aske the employee that was standing right behind him but he seemed to prefer the wandering! While he was wandering I went to look at the flowers and when I came he had then disappeared. So then I was wandering aimlessly looking for him. I have to say I could have used one of you gardening experts along with me. I have absolutely no clue! Just stuck with my usual impatients and DH likes marigolds. Not much originality here.

I'm exhausted this evening so I'm going to retire to my chair with my new Health magazine and then off for an early bedtime. Hope you've all enjoyed a good day and pleasant dreams to you all!

Keep thinking about the long holiday weekend ahead! Hope you get some good R n'R time. Have fun planting your flowers. I have some to plant that have been sitting for probably a month, and I just can't seem to get into it.

Your dinner made me hungry! The sweater sets sound pretty. One of these days I'm going to have to tune into QVC. Maybe it's just as well I haven't.

I haven't seen anything at Talbott's, Chico's, or Coldwater Creek that has excited me recently. Same with shoes, believe it or not. Wonder if it's the hormones or a sign that I have enough.

I'm really, really happy about Peter's job and how good it makes both of you feel. :-)

How neat about the mosquito machines on both sides! We could use those.

A very productive day here. Worked in CL quite a bit, took Mom to dr, went to the gym with my sister, walked and played outside with Bob and got my yard mowed. Used the push mower so I'd have extra exercise today. I
