Good Morning,
I love the quote this morning and how very true and appropriate for Memorial Day.
Not sure what the weather is doing today. We had some very warm weather yesterday and it truly felt like summer. The ac has been unveiled and as soon as DS walked in the house yesterday it wanted to know why it wasn't running. I think he needs to see the electric bill once in a while :)! They were talking about some showers today and tomorrow.
Another one of those nights when I was up every hour on the hour. One would think with being outside and working all day that it would have knocked me out.
I've been up since around 7 trying to catch up with some laundry and then on to tackling the grocery shopping. Pretty much out of fruits and veggies so time to restock. I was too tired to even think last night about dinner menus for the week so I'm going to try to put some ideas together before I head out the door this morning. I hope to clean up around here a bit today and hopefully get Otto out for a walk. He was outside almost all day yesterday but he needs a good walk and just couldn't get the energy to grab the leash last night.
That's about it from my neck of the woods. Hope everyone has a splenid Sunday!
Susan

Good morning ladies.

Love that quote, Patty. I sent a Memorial Day email to those of you whose email addresses I have.
Just a quick post for now, so I can get ready for church. We wound up not going to the beach yesterday, because it got overcast and cool. Headed to Lowe's and got a new trimmer/edger. Tim had to let it charge, so he went on to work after starting the mower for me -- the mower we just had fixed that was used only 1 full time previously. The belt came off after several passes over the yard, so I wound up just pushing it through the tall grass. That should have burned some calories. I did call the repair shop and let them know about it, so they're expecting to get it back Tuesday or Wednesday.

Hello!
Good post Patty.. We do need to remember our soldiers past and present... It's really what this weekend is all about.. Tomorrow we will have a short parade and service in Memorial Park..
Today is sunny and chilly.. I was thinking that is wasn't so bad for the campers Nancy.. I thought that they had predicted rain along with the cooler

So sorry to read about the shin pain!! That really hurts. Maybe some stretches if they don't get better. But YAY on the running!
Your dad and his service to our country will be on my mind this weekend.
