Hope your toe and your bottom feel better soon. Padded bike shorts are well worth the investment. The only time I haven't needed them is on the bike I got a couple of years ago (Electra Townie model).

Unless the movements in Zumba are really controlled, I'd never use weights for fear of momentum pulling me out of proper form.

The movements in Zumba are somewhat controlled, but not precise. Two lbs. doesn't sound like much, but in that situation it is. I would never use a lose hand weight for feat it might slip in my sweaty hands. Still, I agree that for me it's better not to use the weights. That's for your thoughts. :-)
