Alrighty now........give it to us good! How was your day? Would you repeat it again if you could? Was your weather bright and sunny or did you have a cloud or two?

Can I say I had a crappy day? Is that allowed? It was bright and sunny here but man I felt like the black cloud just followed me.......argh! Made it to my hair appointment on time but from there I needed to hit the pharmacy for I used my very last tampon, what a pain in the butt. So that put me getting to work late by 15 minutes. Work was busy and slightly stressful. Once our boss left it lightened up some until my girlfriend spoke to her daughter. Seems the daughters boyfriend took her to Planned Parenthood, but no one checked to see what this was going to cost. My co-worker was told by the insurance company this should have been covered but when she got there, she discovered different. So she needed to borrow money.......a big mess. She confided some things in me about herself which explains why she feels the way she does now. This is not an easy thing this single mother is going through with her daughter. From there we sailed into lunch time so I ran home and had a salad then over to the fish market for some fresh flounder. I bought two pounds for dinner and it was yummy. Is fish expensive where you all live? The flounder ran my $10.99 a pound. Threw the fish into the frig and headed back to the office only to discover the new gal never showed. Her mother called to say that Lori was at motor vechicle and might be late. She then said if Lori was not going to make it she would call, well we never heard from her. I ran around answering 3 lines, helping my boss, fax stuff and typed letters while clients came in. When 5 came I was so out of there. Home for a yelling match between Katie and Rob. So stupid! I so wanted to bang their heads together. Aunt Flo is just down right nasty and she made for a lousy bed partner last night. I am thinking Tylonal PM tonight. I was supposed to be off but I was so busy today I got really behind. So it looks like Thursday and Friday will be 9 to 3 days. Well I need to finish cleaning up the dinner dishes and make some warm tea then its into relax mode for me. I so wanted to walk tonight but I really do not have the energy to finish in the kitchen and go, plus its dark outside now. I hope you all had a plesant day and my ranting did not bring you down.

You really did have a cruddy day, so it's OK to rant. Hope the warm tea and Tylenol PM have kicked in by now. I've been taking it some to try to help me sleep lately, but it doesn't seem to do a whole lot except make me a bit groggy in the morning. I'm going to up my magnesium and see if that will help.

Sorry to hear your friend and her daughter are going through a rough time.

Hugs to you,

I actually had a good day. The only exercise I got was walking at the St. John's Town Center Mall, but that's something. I had an appt. this morning, which made it too late for me to get to the nursing home in time to have lunch with Dad, so I ran some errands first and arranged to be there with him at dinner. Mom was stuck at home having all new 6-panel doors installed inside. She said it makes a really nice difference. I'd love to have the rest of our interior doors replaced too, but it's not a really high priority right now. She wants me to help her pick out some wallcovering for her main bathroom, which I'm happy to do. I have her tile samples in my car for color matching. It would probably be a lot easier if I did it on my own, checked the books out, and took them to her, so she wouldn't get overwhelmed.

I browsed at J. Crew (picked up some catalogs), White House/Black Market, Ann Taylor, Baby Gap, and Dillard's humongous shoe department. I even tried on a few tops, but didn't buy anything. I did get 3 very diverse books -- Games People Play:

Today was a mixed bag. I had to go to the GH to check on an order for a wedding. While I was working on it the boss came in and we talked. We resolved everything and I'm really glad because we work well together and I don't want that to change. The rest of the day was in and out of CL. Found out that the next flock will be coming back sooner than expected so I'll have very little time off and no weekends to just relax. Also I made a hair appt a month ago that is still 2 wks away. I made it on a Wed because I knew I'd be off and because they
