Q Y/N: Today, does your plan include:

*
Cardio and/or Weights: N
*
Meditation: N
*
Monitoring progress via bathroom scale/weigh-in/doctors office/other: Y
*
Doing any of the above Saturday and/or Sunday: Y
*
Shopping for Active-Wear: N

Q Is life like an appetizer? Using the list below (or *other* appetizer of your choosing), please select the appropriate nibble to fill in the blank.

Most of this week has been like Cheese and Nut Roll and come to think of it, the entire month of May could be summed up as Mixed Bean Pate. This summer, I have every intention of making it Skinny Pigs In Blankets with lots of Hot & Peppery Cocktail Shrimp.

3-Fruit Dip Mixed Bean Pate

Baked Pita Chips Pizza Fondue

Bell Pepper Nachos Roasted Vegetables on Muffins

Black Bean Spirals Sun-Dried Tomato Dip

Crab Spring Rolls Stuffed Mushrooms

Chicken Salad Cream Puffs Spicy Popcorn

Cheese and Nut Roll Spinach Cheese Triangles

Cream Cheese Fiesta Spread Scallion-Studded Corn Cakes

Caramelized Onion Tartlets Skinny Pigs In Blankets

Chicken Pot Stickers Seared Scallops With Beet Vinaigrette

Deviled Eggs Savory Bruschetts

Honey-Spice Pretzels Vegetable Fritters With Sweet & Sour Sauce

Hot & Peppery Cocktail Shrimp Wild Mushroom Goat-Cheese Strudel

Hummus & Garlic Toasts

Q What natural ingredient do you favor most in your skincare products?

*
Seaweed
*
Clay
*
Avocado
*
Shiitake mushrooms
*
Pumpkin
*
Other: Love the Dove products with Cucumber extract and green tea

Q If I knew then what I know now I would…

*
Enjoy more…worry less
*
Listen more carefully to what my intuition / gut-feeling says
*
Appreciate all my vitality
*
Would know that school would end soon enough…and work would…well, never mind
*
Wouldn’t worry so much about what other people were thinking
*
Other:

Enjoy more...worry less and wouldn't worry so much about what other people were thinking (although I'm still working on that one)

Q Is there one thing (or more) that you feel you would be able to change during this month to help you reach your health & fitness goal(s)?

1. Stay consistent with workouts.

2. Work on portion control and curb the not so healthy things that somehow end up in my mouth

Bonus Question: A workout of the mind: ANAGRAM in a different order, the letters N, A, G, R, and E can form a meaningful word. There are TWO possibilities. Can you find them? (Answer on Monday LoL!) I came up with Patty's answer.

Thanks again for all the thought you put into the Friday Frive!

Susan

I did rebounding (mini trampoline) sort of "freestyle" for a while, but prior to my surgery it really wasn't a good idea.
