Good morning ladies..........nothing smart or interesting from this neck of the woods. Just wanted to welcome the day and you wonderful ladies. What is on your schedule for today? Do you even have a schedule? Is your weather nice and warm or is anyone experiencing rain? Are you planning a walk with a special someone or do you think you will relax in your favorite chair with

Good morning! Thanks for getting us started CL-Deb.
I glanced at part of the paper and checked the internet news, have a load of clothes going, and ate my low fat vanilla yogurt with frozen blueberries and drank my hot tea, so now it's time to start getting ready for church.
The sun was shining a little while ago, which was nice to see. I want to get by to see my dad after church, but the time will depend on if Tim and I can have lunch together or not. Yes, he'll be working again, although he is sleeping in this morning.
If time permits, I'd like to go walk on the beach a while. I could use the fresh air and exercise.
No other plans for the day. Hope you guys have something fun and/or relaxing lined up.

G'morning ladies!
It's 63 this morning, I think it might be in the 80s this afternoon.
Good Afternoon,
Kind of a strange day weather wise. It started out sunny but it has become cloudy and it's very damp. I've been thinking about getting my bike out and taking a ride around the neighborhood and I have a ton of things to do inside but I'm feeling a bit on the lazy side today.
I've been to the grocery store this morning and it was one of those days where I wonder where common courtesy has gone. I'm standing in the deli line and a woman takes her cart and puts it in front of mine I thought for the purpose of taking a number which at that point they weren't using but she stayed there. The deli person asks to help her and she starts right in with her order. I said excuse me about 5x when I finally said I had been standing there. She was all apologetic and said that the person asked who was next and since I didn't say anything. She knew she pushed her cart in front of me and it would seem that she would make sure I was being helped before getting right in there but then again that's just me. She offered to let me go ahead but since they had already started slicing her order I didn't see the point. The woman behind me was also wondering what the woman was thinking. I guess she was lucky that I'm not one to start a scene. It just seemed that wherever this couple was they were always right in front of me and in the way. My refrigerator is now full of healthy things to eat so no excuse for not eating the right things.
I went for my manicure and then home for some lunch and was feeling oh so comfy on the couch with my book but decided since the washer and dryer weren't whirled and twirled yesterday that they had better start doing their thing today. We had thought about going to see the baby today but DH didn't call and I wasn't about to give them an unexpected visit or a short notice visit. I have to email her about a birthday party that I'm planning for my SIL and DH at the end of the month so I'll ask her in the email when we can stop by. I probably should think about attacking some of my piled up ironing too. I still have bags of groceries to get put away and a sink full of containers that need to have the contents thrown out and the containers loaded into the dishwasher. I had hoped DH would take care of that while I was out but it's all still sitting there. Lots of things to do just not a lot of oomph to tackle much of anything.
DD and her BF are coming for dinner and have a simple penne ala vodka and salad planned for dinner. I was pretty sure I would be having guests when I told her what was on the menu.
Well I guess if I hope to accomplish anything this afternoon I had better get started although the couch and my book are still terribly inviting.
Hope everyone is enjoying a good day.
Susan
