I have to be to work by 9. Fortunately for me I'm only a mile from work so at the most it's a 10 minute drive-depends on how many green lights I can take advantage of. If I didn't enjoy going home for lunch so much I would probably do the walk back and forth.

It's wonderful that you're staying so focused. It seems that success begets success! I'm with you about limiting the food choices. It seems I have more success if I stick with just several foods that are easy to fix and very familiar. When it gets too involved and too much trouble, I end up not sticking with it.

Im new here and you seem like a very motivated uplifting person. I have been on ediets more than 3 years and get very frustrated when its so hard to find people there who are really INTO it if you know what I mean

Looking forward to getting to know you and others

Ive been On Atkins 3 years started at 250 Pounds Got all the way down to 183. Got the menopause fun, had to stop running (my new passion)6 months ago due to knee energy and have been seesawing back and forth between 190 and 200

Hi Erin! Welcome to the board! Congratulations on your weight loss. I love to run, will you be able to get back to it later? What type of knee injury did you have? Whenever I have knee pain I pull back on both speed and distance. I try to run on soft surfaces and rarely do hill work.

This is a wonderful group for motivation, support and friendship. We look forward to your posts.

Welcome, Erin! Happy to have you join us. Do you like fitness activities other than running? We do a variety of workouts here.

I srted running about 3 years ago, trained for my first 5K, ran about 5 5K's 3 10K's and a half marathon. I started training for my second half marathon with my Puppies and I may have overdone it there and Possibly have a torn miniscus. I am currently just now beginning a 6 month waiting period for insurance. I use to get knee pain But it would usually go away after a week or two rest

Ok If I got this right it looks like you Post a new subject everyday so I need to jump over there now?
